Repair analysis was good as well as work performed. However, during a post inspection service tech stated battery needed replacement based upon a battery test and that brake fluid reservoir cap was cra However, during a post inspection service tech stated battery needed replacement based upon a battery test and that brake fluid reservoir cap was cracked and replacement needed. I asked service advisor about the cracked cap, but he later stated it was just getting old. I declined cap replacement ($153.00) and battery replacement ($250.). Subsequently, I check Rock Auto for a replacement reservoir cap and cost of $27.93. The battery had a warranty. I took the battery to the original retailer who asked about any starting issues etc. and then checked my battery and showed me that the battery was good and charging system working well. I get frustrated with the dealer's service personnel who try to over repair/over sell vs. providing a warning that something should be considered for repair in the future. Note: Dealer offered (on website and that I had to ask for) a 20% discount for repairs in excess of $500.00 that I was able to apply to my invoice. More
