I opened a case with Honda America complaining about the failed Honda Sense Cam (4years, 20k miles) and a repair replacement cost of >$2000. Although an auto glass shop confirmed a failed cam, Honda America insisted an authorized Honda dealer to confirm the cam failure. Standing around, AutoNation Honda took 10 mins for a service advisor to greet me. Additionally I had a scheduled appoint with AutoNation Honda, arriving on time only to be told the diagnostic would take 4-5 hours. The service advisor informed me of an additional charge (beyond the $250 diag) of $650 to attempt to align the cam, just to determine the cam, is in fact defective. $900 to tell me what Exceptional Auto Glass told me for free, "Defective Camera code"? I then went to Auburn Honda. I don't understand why Auburn Honda was able to diagnose the failed Honda Sense camera within 15 mins of my arrival for a diagnosis of $240 with no additional costs. In summary, long wait times, additional unnecessary charge on what is to be an expensive repair for a part that has failed prematurely. I've had long wait times in the past at your dealership for routine maintenance as well. Read the reviews on service, I am not the exception. No need for a second chance as I'll drive the extra miles to Auburn Honda.
