I have been a repeat customer since 1989 which affirms my satisfaction with the work performed on all 3 Hondas I have owned. I appreciate the detailed explanation of the service needed and ensuring the repairs are done correctly. Bill Ackerman has always been honest in his appraisal of what work needs to be done on my car, the time involved, and if possible provide alternative transportation if servicing required an overnight stay. I have no reservation in stating Bill and this dealership should receive the highest commendation and strive to retain their customers as CFL's (Customers for Life). More

I bought my first Honda (1990) at Renton Honda, and continued buying Hondas from there since then (1993, 2006 and 2014). I have known Bill Ackerman since he started working there. Bill Ackerman is a pleasure to work with … always truthful about what repairs or services needs to be done and what it will cost AND how long it will take. On two occasions Bill called the Honda main office on parts that were just beyond warranty (but were reported earlier as issues to watch) and got the repairs done as warranted parts. If he didn’t care, I would have been paying out of my own pocket. I have also had positive interactions with other service managers, but several of them have gone on to other jobs. I feel I have always been treated fairly at the Renton Honda / AutoNation Honda service center. More
I'd like to give 3 1/2 stars, but that's not an option. My appointment was for 4:00 p.m. I was initially billed at over $80. I told the service advisor that i had a coupon. He said it would get fixed My appointment was for 4:00 p.m. I was initially billed at over $80. I told the service advisor that i had a coupon. He said it would get fixed on the final invoice. My oil change was not completed until 5:15. When i brought up the coupon again, he did finally bill at the correct price; however, when i brought up the verbiage on the coupon which states the service will be complete in 45 minutes or the next oil change is free, he just kind of smiled. I don't know whether I'll actually get my next oil change for free or not. The car wash has also been non-functioning the last few times I've been in. I'm not sure whether this has been continuous or not. The dealership is always very clean and everyone I've worked with have been courteous and personable. I knocked 1/2 a star off for not knowing whether or not my next oil change is free and 1 star off because of the car wash not being operational. On my way over to my appointment, a bird had done a number on my windshield and his gift was still present when I drove my car away. More

My expectation was that the refrigerant for the A/C needed to be recharged, which turned out to be the case. However, it would have been nice to know that was the issue prior to the technicians actually recharging the system. I didn't find out about it, until it was time to pay the bill. More
