The service department at Renton Honda is HORRIBLE. They performed major service on my car for a huge $$$$ including replacing the timing belt. Less than 15,000 later the seals on the work have started to performed major service on my car for a huge $$$$ including replacing the timing belt. Less than 15,000 later the seals on the work have started to leak. When I brought it in, they said yep the seals need to be replaced... but sorry you are out of the 12,000 warranty. A repair of this type should last much longer. When I called them originally they said oh no worries timing belt is warranted for 90,000. That was just a ploy to get me into the service bay again. Once they had the car then "Oh the belt is warranted for 90,000, but not the seals themselves". I tried talking to service manager (no help) left message for Dealer Manager but he just passed me off to some underling. DO NOT USE their service department. Dishonest and Unreliable work More

I bought a 2010 Honda Fit (Base) from Renton Honda in February. The dealership was clean and well ordered. The sales people, financial people, and managers were friendly, helpful, and low pressure. Th February. The dealership was clean and well ordered. The sales people, financial people, and managers were friendly, helpful, and low pressure. The process took longer than we thought it should though. We gave a single offer on a yes or no basis. But, instead of yes or no, the "manager" had to go to someone higher to accept or reject our offer and he kept coming back with counter offers. We were left by ourselves for quite a bit each time. They did not accept our offer and we were on our way out of the dealership, within a few feet of going out the door when we were stopped and finally given a "yes" on our original offer. I traded in my old car as part of the deal and was given a fair price for it. The aftermarket services and extra's were fully explained, but with low pressure and an acceptance of "no thank you" as final. The vehicle we wanted was not on the lot at the time of the sale and no one we talked to could tell us when it would be delivered. Estimates varied according to who and when you asked that question. The answer was usually "tomorrow". Several phone calls during the succeeding week finally brought forth the fact that it was in customs in Portland, Oregon. We believe they knew this at the time of the sale. Eventually, the vehicle was delivered the next Friday. We live on the West side of Puget Sound and had it delivered rather than going to pick it up. The delivery was provided for free and it was exactly on time. Even after the long drive, it was clean and had a full tank of gas. Even though there were some minor problems, I would reccommend a visit to this Dealer if you are in the market for a new Honda. More
