AutoNation Honda Renton

We purchased a 2013 Civic Hybrid from Renton Honda. Our first contact was via email with Brian. His email was responsive to all our specific requests and very courteous. We said in our email that we would only consider this one particular vehicle and that our purchase would involve a trade-in. Brian gave us an appointment at our requested time, had the vehicle we wanted ready at the front of the dealership when we arrived, and had an appraiser on site to evaluate our trade-in while we were on the test drive of the new vehicle. We felt Renton Honda gave us a good but not great value for our trade-in. From our research before our appointment, we knew that Renton Honda was giving us a competitive base price for the new vehicle. Their product specialist, Steve, was very helpful to explain all the features of the new car. We really appreciated his thorough and clear explanations and answers to our questions as this was our first hybrid purchase. The only reason that our overall score is a 4 instead of a 5 is that the paperwork part of the appointment was much more time consuming than we expected it would be for a cash purchase. Even though no financing was needed and we did not 'haggle', the identity check and related paperwork took well over an hour. We did not feel pressured at all, but it seemed odd to be left waiting alone for 10 to 15 minutes two different times, for paperwork that did not involve an offer/counter-offer process. We made our purchase on a busy Saturday morning and that may have been why the paperwork part of the process was a little slow. We liked everyone who helped us and we liked that everything was done on the spot. We left our trade-in there and drove away in a brand new car, which was an undeniably good feeling. Jeff Julien's timing was spot on. Unlike almost all other dealerships we were not attacked upon entry of the dealership. Nor were we simply ignored. My family felt like we were allowed the right amount of time to look at the vehicle that we were interested in. Jeff was incredibly polite, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Jeff is an exceptional example of what a car salesman should be like. Jeff's customer service, friendliness and quality of work made this overall experience the best that we could have hoped for and the reasonable price made it that much better. Thank you Renton Honda. The process of purchasing a used car can be nerve wracking but the staff at Renton Honda gave me an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire process was very easy and painless. I received a fair trade in price for my vehicle and I know they worked hard to find me the best interest rate for financing. I felt no pressure at any point to make a decision and their entire team was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuine. Steve Lorenzo was great to work with and did a good job negotiating a deal that I was pleased with on purchasing a used fully loaded 2005 Ford F150 Lariat. Steve had a very low pressure approach...I hate negotiating a deal that I was pleased with on purchasing a used fully loaded 2005 Ford F150 Lariat. Steve had a very low pressure approach...I hate the hard core sales type, so this was a pleasant surprise. They took very good care to detail and clean the truck and I felt very good about their 100 point inspection and checklist policy. They also have a very solid 5 day return policy if there was any dissatisfaction with the vehicle. Their pricing was very transparent and no surprises during the finance stage with Josh, who was also very friendly. I ended up going with a 3 year extended warranty as he was able to give me a good deal on that as well. The truck ended up having a couple of issues after driving it over the weekend. Upon bringing it back, Jim Tucker took great care of me and they performed all the extra work on the vehicle that was needed. To be honest, I was considering just bringing back the truck and continuing my search, but Jim really went the extra mile to ensure that I was happy with the vehicle. After such a great experience with everyone I worked with at Renton Honda, I'll be sure to refer friends and would recommend them to anyone.
