The sales portion was good. They did a good job with closing that. However, the finance portion was not very good. First person gave my family attitude for no apparent reason. Made it not enjoyable, while my family was there as we were looking at our new minivan. Took away a lot of the excitement. A few days later I was asked to come back in to sign some docs. I asked why, the person did not know why. So I drove 30 miles round trip to get blindsided with info that my payment has increased by $25/month. That’s a material change for a new family. I understand errors get made, but let me know before I come in. I also came in to sign, only to sign electronically on a tablet. I asked if the docs can be sent electronically because of the distance from my house, but they said no. So we have a technology to sign on a tablet, but can’t be sent out via email? Seems like a wasted opportunity if you already have the technology. Finally, the sales manager followed up with me and asked if there is anything else he could help with. That’s when I let him know of the issues with the finance department. Seems like he was just going through the motions and sidestepped my concerns. Didn’t want to offer a way to make it right or a solution. Instead, just tried to end the conversation multiple times by saying enjoy your odyssey or have a nice day, even though it was clear the conversation was not over. Poor overall team effort from this dealer. You may get a “good” deal for a numbers perspective but if the entire operation isn’t aligned and provides poor service on the way, it doesn’t matter what the price is. More
