This is my third Honda and I have worked with John each time. Job has sold me the last two cars and I am completely satisfied. Whenever I come in for service, John always comes over to chat. This is actually a tale of two experiences. Originally wrote in and asked for a quote on a minivan and Gina was very straightforward and helpful putting numbers together. I was looking forward with working with the dealer to finalize the transaction pending an estimate of my trade-in. Actually going to the dealer was where the experience completely fell apart and left me very angry. When I arrived at the dealer and asked for Gina the manager introduced me to Adolfo and explained that he worked with Gina and would be helping me while I was there. I tried giving my keys to Adolfo explaining I was here to have the trade-in inspected but he said he need to go through the "procedures" of the experience. I was put off by this but thought I would humor him if the procedures were short. He proceeded to disappear for 10 minutes and show up with a minivan outside. I asked him why he brought a car out and he said it was part of the "procedures" and that we needed to go on a test drive. At this point I was really confused and starting to get angry as I had already been at the dealer for 20 mins and they hadn't even taken my keys to do an estimate on the trade-in. We went on a short 5 mins test drive and arrived back at the dealer. He directed me back to his desk and he disappeared. After another 20 mins of waiting I left. They had wasted 45 mins of my time and had not even taken my keys to look at my trade-in. I left. What should have taken maybe 30mins total to look at the trade-in and fold in to my quote turned into a complete waste of time that left me almost shaking with anger. Not only do I not recommend this dealership if Honda dealers come up in conversation I will tell people to actively avoid O'Hare Honda. More

I went to this dealership, wasn't completely sure which Honda to buy Accord or Civic. The place was packed but I am glad Anatoly was our sales consultant he helped a lot in making car buying experien which Honda to buy Accord or Civic. Anatoly aka AL provided an excellent service he asked all the right questions related to my commute and my need. Keeping my long commute in mind he showed multiple cars with good gas mileage and comfort. I've bought New Honda Accord 2014 Sports. Even after car selection he provided all necessary details needed but went above and beyond to actually help me setup everything in my car. The only issue with my new car was that it has only one master key whereas it should have been 2 master keys and one regular key. Al actually informed me and got me official paper stating that I will get all the keys I would have just left with one key. Though this might not be a big deal for some people but I highly appreciate the honesty and his concern about his customers. Even though I am in different State now but I have complete trust and confidence in AL, his team and this dealership that this matter will be resolved too.And I highly recommend this dealership and Sales Consultant Anatoly aka AL. Did my research on internet so I knew exactly what kind of car and price I wanted to pay. I ended up buying a used 2012 Honda Civic for my son. I went out of my way to go to Honda O’Hare AutoNation as th of car and price I wanted to pay. I ended up buying a used 2012 Honda Civic for my son. I went out of my way to go to Honda O’Hare AutoNation as their prices on-line seemed VERY competitive. I went into the dealership and it was very busy but Al immediate noticed my son and I needing help. We explained to him which car we seen on-line and he immediately showed us the car and took us for a test drive. We were in a bit of a hurry so I made an offer very close to asking price as their prices seemed very fare given my research. My offer was accepted and I was excited thinking we’d be able to make this as quick and painless as possible. Everything about this dealership and our sales person Al was excellent. The only reason I rated my overall experience as good instead of great was that after our offer was accepted it took about 2 more hours to complete the transaction. I was paying with a check and no financing but putting all the necessary paper work (which I do understand is a lot) and getting the car prepared for us to take took a bit longer than I was hoping. Otherwise, everything went very smooth and Al was a great sales person. No pressure and just genuine good customer service. He really went well above the call of duty to ensure my son fully understood the vehicle and all its functions. He treated my son like he was his own children which I very much respected and appreciated. He also called me the next day to ensure all was good and also gave me his personal cell number and told us to call him ANYTIME if we had a problem….Great guy and excellent service and highly recommend O’Hare Honda given my experience. I was connected to O'Hare Honda through my credit union. Gina contacted me shortly after I submitted my online request via the phone and over e-mail. She provided a competitive quote on pricing and union. Gina contacted me shortly after I submitted my online request via the phone and over e-mail. She provided a competitive quote on pricing and encouraged me to stop in at the dealership. At the dealership, I was introduced to Stan who arranged for a test drive and answered all the questions I had about the new 2014 Honda Accord. Stan was very friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the car, but I was not ready to buy at that point. I indicated this to Stan and I told him I wanted to do a little more shopping and research. Stan respected my desires. He did not apply any high-pressure sales techniques. Instead he just wanted to equip me with all the knowledge I needed to make an informed decision about a car that I liked. Days after visiting O'Hare Honda, I visited another Honda dealer to test drive the car that I was interested in one more time. After the drive, I was immediately subjected to a high pressure sales push even though I mentioned that I was not ready to buy at that time. We did not get all the way through the pricing process, but the aggressive sales person made it sound like I could possibly see a few hundred dollars in savings vs. the O'Hare price on the surface, but regardless of whether or not this was the case, I believe there is something to be said about the customer experience. At this point I was more sure about the car I wanted, but I really valued how Stan and Gina treated me vs. what I was experiencing at this dealership. I didn't enjoy being treated like a "faceless quick sale target" and I walked away from the deal. Over the next few days, Stan, Gina, and I corresponded over e-mail and I ultimately went back to O'Hare Honda to get my new car. Stan and Gina were both at the dealership the night I bought my car. They were friendly and helpful throughout the process and the process went smoothly. Stan made sure I knew how to use key features on the new car. He even took the time to retrieve the IPass adhesive pads from the windshield of my trade-in so I could use them in the new car. I feel like I got a good price. I don't know if I got the best price, but I got the best customer service/experience. I don't buy cars often, but when the time comes again, I would love to work with Gina and Stan again. Mary was knowledgeable about the cars I was interested in and made every effort to make sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable about the car I wanted. Mary made me feel special like I was her own kid or something! She gave me the biggest hug after I purchased my car and stayed late to make sure my bluetooth was set up and that I knew how to operate the navigation. It really is the little things that make the biggest impact. I will definitely make sure I refer anyone looking for a car to O'Hare Honda because of he excellent treatment I received there. More
