Deceitful Dealership I purchased a car at AutoNation a few weeks ago. While I love the car, the purchase experience was deceitful. The car as listed on TrueCar and other sites had a lower mileage. When I brought this up, they did nothing about it. The car was also a CPO. The salesman didn't seem to know this. When he found this out he decided to charge me $700 for it. Later they removed the fee but made it seem like they were giving me a deal. They claim "No Haggle" but that's all they do. Spend your money elsewhere. They don't have to change unless people stop going there. Wish I had purchased somewhere else. More
Unfortunate Experience 2011 Honda Odyssey was brought in for service for a defective piston ring. A known class action suit extended a warranty on this faulty part and they took partial responsibility for this after keeping our vehicle for over 1 week to determine that Honda would pay for half of the repair. I would have loved if Honda national would have accepted full responsibility for the repair and that the process to get an answer for this should not have taken over a week. Extremely poor! After the repair, 2 engine bolts were left on our vehicle and likely caused a chip on our windshield as a result of this carelessness. The chip generated a cracked windshield that they did not the responsibility for. They said that they have been doing this for 19 years and this was not the cause. I completely disagree with their forensic analysis and believe that deductive reasoning would lead them to conclude that the damage occurred in their shop. They say that they are customer friendly and care about the consumer, but when it comes down to dollars, they really are just looking out for their bottom line. More

I just got a second oil change and both times when I got home and parked my car in the garage, I found a small puddle of dirty black oil. Seriously, how does that happen? I've had many cars in the past 30 years and have never seen that. In addition, appointment schedule means nothing to them. Every time I had to take the car in, I waited there for over 20 mins just for someone to acknowledge me. Customer Service is the last priority!!! More

The reviews were right...its bad. I came in to drive a used Accord with a great price and I was surprised how little welcome I got when I came in. The "no haggle" dealer was immediately pushing me on what I wanted for my trade so they could make the deal today. "What number would make you leave with the car today?" Classic. I said I wanted to drive other cars before making a decision since this was my first car I drove, so I gave a ridiculous number. They came up on my trade significantly from the initial offer, but I wasn't ready to pull the trigger. I returned the next day, basically sold on the car but wanting to drive it again and feel good about the total net after trade. I probably would have bought it, but they wouldn't offer the net price they offered the day before! When I asked why, it was "today is a new day and my manager says that's not the price we can offer today. Unbelievable. I walked out. I have dealt with good friendly car dealers who care about their customers, this is definitely not one of them. More

They are more concerned with trying to sell you services that are unnecessary to ratch up your service bill. God forbid you ask them a question they act like they are doing you a favor. There are so many other options to get your car worked upon that going to AutoNation Honda O'Hare should be your last resort. More
Very rude General Manager Sales person, Jennifer, agreed to match the offer I have in had from another dealer. She was very polite, respectful, and courteous. With that promise walked in to the showroom and just like any other dealer, they started to haggle to increase the price, sell unnecessary packages, etc. I stood my ground. Sales manager was called. Same thing repeated. General Manager (gm) was called. Same thing repeated. But gm was very rude, insulting, raising the voice, but I stood my ground. At one point, it was too much, I said I'm leaving. He shook the hand and I left without turning my face back. If you can't match, say you can't match. End of discussion, but being rude, manipulative, insulting, raising the voice at a customer ???? More

Other employees treated her with disrespect. The wait was ridiculous once we agreed on price. I bought the car in July. Paid cash. It is November. Because of a mistake in finance I still have not received the title! And I can't get anyone to even call me back. Emailed and called many times without any luck. If you do talk to someone they will just say someone will call you back. It never happens. Stay away! Headaches are not worth any money you might save. More
