When I made the appointment originally, it was just to do a test drive because the car I wanted wasn’t going to be in until the following supportive. They asked if I would like to process everything the same day and we made it work. I loved how friendly everybody was and I never felt pressured. It was a car. I have been looking forward to for a couple years. Also, since the original plan was just for a test drive, I had my vehicle with me. When we discussed how to have me get the new Honda home and what to do with the vehicle they provided me with storage until I can come back there via Uber or Lyft. A potential pick up was even offered, but I have to work out the schedule because of child responsibilities. We made it all happen without any pressure and I felt very good at the end of the day. On August 1, I brought my vehicle to Honda AutoNation because the check engine light, brake light, and CVT warning light had come on again. During the incident, the vehicle jerked repeatedly and would no because the check engine light, brake light, and CVT warning light had come on again. During the incident, the vehicle jerked repeatedly and would not accelerate beyond 35 mph. Since the problem is intermittent, the warning lights eventually turned off before I arrived at the dealership. When I arrived, I was greeted by a service representative who was unfriendly, did not greet me, and showed little interest in listening to my description of the issue. I had already scanned the vehicle myself and found that the problem appears to be related to the CVT speed sensor. Instead of hearing me out, I was simply told, "We do our own scans here." About two hours later, I received the same response I've gotten before: because there were no warning lights on at the time of inspection, I was told to pick up the vehicle. When I asked what I should do the next time the problem occurs, the service representative told me to "write down in a journal whether it happens in the morning or evening." I have never experienced this level of dismissiveness at any service department. To make matters worse, the inspection video I received was only one second long and showed nothing. I feel that my concerns are not being taken seriously. I am not asking for unnecessary repairs—I simply want the intermittent issue to be properly diagnosed. Based on the diagnostic code I retrieved (P0717), I believe the issue is related to the CVT speed sensor, and I have request that part number 28820-RJ2-003 be evaluated for replacement. Instead, the visit ends with the same response: "Everything is fine because there are no warning lights." Waste of time and uber charges. More
