AutoNation Honda Fremont - Service Center

I request the product cancellation 6 weeks ago. In past 6 weeks, when I calling to them trying to follow up the status of the cancellation and refund, they just told me the finance guys is busy or my phone w weeks, when I calling to them trying to follow up the status of the cancellation and refund, they just told me the finance guys is busy or my phone was never picked up. Oxy Sensor charged 294.27 and labor 303.95. This part costs under $100 ....not 294.27.... He then said Cams needed changed and timer belt tighten and new spark plugs. They gave me car at 4 pm and with a broken front license frame and wanted to do almost two thousand more. I took it to another automotive mechanic paid $146. for inspection and guess what all I needed was my brake fluid replaced and flush put on new license plate frame 30 to put on what Honda broke. No new cams or valves or spark plugs...or timer belt tighten....Why because in 2018 new timing belt, and transmission fluid and hoses , water pump and gasket and coolant. at a auto repair shop and so for the mechanic at Fremont Honda to say I needed all these things to be done shows that they are over charging and false information for repair to your car. Driven under 5,000 miles from timing belt changed. And all the Manager wants to offer me is $60. (10 percent) on the 602.95 they charged me and the service advisor was awful 3 hrs waited to hear about inspection and what was needed and then she wanted me to approve the cam and all over the phone instead of when I came to get car. Beware for mechanics padding their services, over charging for parts and poor service as to what stage your car is going to be ready. I wish I knew the owner of Fremont Honda I would showing him my paperwork which shows 2018 new timing belt, and all services before I came to Fremont Honda and the mechanic and svc advisor figured a 2000 well taken care of Honda would pad their commissions for work.....FIND AN HONEST MECHANIC LOCALLY STAY A WAY FROM DEALERSHIP SERVICES..... oh by the way they removed the other review I first wrote. Such a shame this is my 3rd honda and second time at this service center (2013) and sorry I came back.... More

Never going here again My 2012 Odyssey has a rotors issue where vehicle starts shaking when apply breakes (factory break pads are still good), Its worst at higher speeds. Doing some research shows its well know issue with hondas but honda does not acknowledge it and says its your driving. Anyway, many dealers would resurface them for free at-least once. All my odyssey services are done here (B13 just a week before). Service rep says it will be 100$ for diagnosis and 300 something for resurfacing the front rotors. I went ahead and got it done thinking Honda will reimburse me (they raised a ticket and they can help). A day later honda customer service calls and tells they dont reimburse the rotors. Coming back to the dealer, I am way dissatisfied with them that I am putting off the purchase of clarity and any Honda car in future. More

The level of service depends on your service advisor and how much you feel you can trust them. So I Googled and Yelp'ed and found Lilly Carbis at the AutoNation Honda Service center. She is hands down one of the best advisors I have come across. She clearly knows her way around a car and is great at what she does. She's also great at customer service and goes far in taking care of her customers. There are some other (favorable) reviews for her as well on Yelp, but the sentiments are well deserved. More

Service department manager highly unprofessional. Came her to have my car serviced and was treated very nicely by The service writer. Around this time some guy comes storming through the shop getting in peoples faces yelling and cursing at them. Something to do with a few work stations were dirty and cluttered. I asked a mechanic who he was and was told he is Phil the service manager. I'm very unhappy to see that's how he treats his employees, no human being should be talked to the way he did. I will not be returning or be recommending anyone to bring there vehicle here till a professional manager is hired. More

Go to the service dept. as scheduled, and the service adviser tells me they don't have the part. WHAT? I was furious, the SA without apology says they can do the recall in a few days, but never called me to schedule of follow up. When I asked to speak to a manger, they were "busy" I just had the recall performed at South Bay Honda, and let me tell you what a difference. More
