Our experience with Autonation Honda Dulles was awful. There were some things that were not under their control. However, simple customer service practices like picking up the phone, returning calls, prov There were some things that were not under their control. However, simple customer service practices like picking up the phone, returning calls, providing updates on delivery dates of parts were extremely lacking. I was always pulling information from the team vice them pushing information to the customer. If a part is still backordered, there should be a automated email that's sent out letting me know the part isn't in yet. Whenever we called to make an appointment/ receive an update, I was forwarded to reception who asked to take a message. I never received call's back, I had to call repeated times to get the appropriate person on the line. When the part that was backordered finally arrived we received a call while on vacation. We let them know we were on vacation and gave them the Points of Contact to get the car to the shop ASAP. We recounted this in an email, but for some reason they continued to attempt to contact us while out of the country (we couldn't receive calls). All in all, nothing wildly egregious, but more annoying. This would be a much better review if they were more customer service oriented... More

It has recently been a pleasure to work with Alannah at Dulles Honda. You can get your vehicle repaired just about anywhere, but I prefer those who make the vehicle to do the repairs. I feel like they're Dulles Honda. You can get your vehicle repaired just about anywhere, but I prefer those who make the vehicle to do the repairs. I feel like they're better trained and informed in all the nuances of this particular brand. Alannah has been very helpful and informative and clearly explains, in detail, the purpose of every necessary repair or item of required maintenance. More
The service (transmission fluid replacement) was fine, but the man who was in charge of helping me wasn’t helpful. If I asked him a question, we would spout a bunch of verbiage, but it didn’t make sense. but the man who was in charge of helping me wasn’t helpful. If I asked him a question, we would spout a bunch of verbiage, but it didn’t make sense. In other words, he didn’t want to take the time to give coherent answers. He asked if I also wanted an engine check. I asked him what an “engine check” meant and he basically said it meant checking the engine fluids and belts. I could figure that out myself. I was expecting more specifics - like which fluids and which belts. Ironically that was his answer after his first response which was to tell me an engine check was to check the engine. Later when I asked about a charge on the bill, same type of response. Lots of words but no substance. When I tried to get a clearer explanation, he still wasn’t able, maybe unwilling, to give a clear explanation. I’m not sure if he didn’t know how to explain things or if he thought I wasn’t worth the time and effort. Needless-to-say, I was frustrated but went ahead and paid my bill because the amount was basically the same amount as the original quote, and I didn’t want to create a scene. More
