My car was due for maintenance and to service a recall notice. They called to make sure I had a chance to come in for the recall service. I also need regular service at the same time. The complete the work in less time than first thought and everything was accomplished in a very professional and courteous manner. Following a routine maintenance service at the dealership for my new vehicle, I noticed an oversight. After filling up the washer fluid, I discovered that the oil cap was missing, and oil had spilled through for my new vehicle, I noticed an oversight. After filling up the washer fluid, I discovered that the oil cap was missing, and oil had spilled throughout the engine compartment. Naturally, I was frustrated and promptly returned to the dealership. My service advisor, Ryan Parsons, facilitated my complaint and arranged for me to speak with the service manager, Tim Nguyen. Both individuals took responsibility for the situation, apologized, and took immediate action to rectify the issue. They thoroughly cleaned the engine compartment and replaced the oil cap. In addition, they compensated me fairly for the inconvenience. I was impressed with the way they handled the situation. While mistakes do happen, it's how they are addressed and resolved that counts. I see this as a learning experience and don't wish to harshly criticize the technician responsible for the oversight. They work hard, and I'm sure it was a simple mistake that could have happened to anyone. Ultimately, I'm satisfied with the resolution and appreciate the dealership's commitment to customer service.
