Went to AutoNation Honda of Dulles for service and general maintenance. Was told needed to change timing belt and water pump ($1k+ job). That service had been completed just over one year ago at a d general maintenance. Was told needed to change timing belt and water pump ($1k+ job). That service had been completed just over one year ago at a different dealer so I wonder if they really looked at things and what else they are recommending that doesn't need to be done? Also told me my power steering pump was leaking and needs to be replaced for $1,200. No leaks are obvious though - nothing on the ground. Going to get a second opinion on that. Beware of service being recommended that might not need to be done. More
Fawad was a pleasure to work with. His follow-up and genuine effort to get things right was greatly appreciated, especially on the cusp of a major travel holiday. genuine effort to get things right was greatly appreciated, especially on the cusp of a major travel holiday. More
Will be looking elsewhere. First, the service rep went to the wrong car...thought he was servicing another before he went to mine. Then asked, why didn't you tell me. Then another customer came up to hi to the wrong car...thought he was servicing another before he went to mine. Then asked, why didn't you tell me. Then another customer came up to him and asked if his car was ready. The guy said asked why didn't he call? The customer stated I did 3 times and the rep said you didn't leave a message. Then he shook his head like the other customer was inconveniencing him. Don't think this person was Sydney Thorp. If he was, he needs some customer service skills refresher course or something. Alanna took over (guy must of went home) and thank goodness for that because she was very helpful and courteous. Also, 300 for labor cost for 1 1/2 hours worth of work? xxx? Should have chosen another profession. More
I was very late for my appointment as the service to jump my car’s battery was terribly late. When I arrived at AutoNation Honda, I was stressed. The service tech was calm and soon, calmed me. I often work nights, but I’ll schedule an 8am appt for an oil change just to catch up with my boy Adam, and to enjoy the awesome amenities at the dealership — complimentary gourmet coffee and tea, high speed Wi-Fi, a shuttle van to get me to/from the dealership if the time runs long (which is never does a Adam Keaney, who always delivers EARLIER than estimated.
