I have bought four Honda vehicles from this dealership since 2004. My experiences in the past have been good as far as fair pricing, good periodic servicing, and convenience of dealership hours. This was not the fault of James, the sales representative but the fault of the sales manager. John was his first name but I don't recall the last name. He was rather rigid on price negotiations which may be expected but as a recurring customer, uncalled for, and as it turned out the vehicle has a slight scratch on it and they told me to bring it back to be painted. I was told I would be given a pre-owned car as a loaner while the painting was done. When I got there I was told Enterprise Car Rental would pick me up and provide a car at Honda's cost. What they don't cover is the gas you use on the rental as well as insurance you pay to cover any damages. So, instead of just having me keep my trade-in until the painting was done, they caused me out-of-pocket expenses that should have been unnecessary. I was not thrilled over the experience as well as not thrilled that they put an additional 40 miles on my vehicle driving it to the paint contractor. They also didn't see a need to replace the gas they burned up but didn't see a problem that would have to pay for gas used on the rental. On a side note, ever wonder why they have sales representatives when all they end up doing is going to the sales manager who then comes back to you and tells you what he can't do? More
I bought my car February 4th and it's been in for service 4 times since. It's a 2008 CPO civic w/ 32k miles. It had a large gash in one of the front tires when I bought it and instead of buying two new tires 4 times since. It's a 2008 CPO civic w/ 32k miles. It had a large gash in one of the front tires when I bought it and instead of buying two new tires, they swapped the front two off a 2011 that had 11k miles. They did this on the 6th of February and re-aligned the car. It pulled VERY hard right and I immediately called to let them know I'd be back to have it re-done. I recently moved over an hour away from Dulles Honda so it's difficult for me to drive there during the week now, but I've had to bring it in 4 times for the same problem-- they keep giving me the car back after an "alignment" and the car continues to pull hard right. Keilan Palacios is the most disrespectful person I've ever had to deal with. I bought a $20k vehicle and gave him a large downpayment and he had the audacity to call me a "Kid." I had two witnesses with me that heard him say it. He and his management staff should be embarrassed of their actions and the way they've handled this situation. The general manager was stomping around like a madman and wouldn't even speak to me. It's completely unacceptable that I have to keep going back to have my car aligned and they can't make it work properly. I believe they owe me a new set of tires for the vehicle because the issue was there before I bought the car and was brought to their attention before I signed for it. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen and I will not stop until this issue is resolved and I receive a formal apology from Keilan Palacios and the entire management staff of Honda of Dulles. This morning they recommended brake service and said we could drive it to work and come back at night to get it done. No matter what it is unlikely we will buy (something we planned in the next 60 days) or service with them again. We will even consider other brands more seriously. More
No hassles. Price quoted was what I was charged. Huge contrast to the other major nova honda dealer. I'm very pleased that they worked beyond the nature of their service like asking we if how am I feeling since I just had an accident a week ago. They were very accommodating like asking me and my friends if we wanted anything to drink. Even after I bought my car, Jason called me just to ask if everything was fine or if I have any problem, I'll just give him a call or drop by coz he'll answer them as soon as he can. Mr. Wayne Brent was the epitome of team work in ensuring that the customer was satisfied. This time around the 2012 V6 Accord we wanted was not available at Dulles; but I had the utmost confidence that Wayne would find it. And in a short period of time, he did. It was indeed my pleasure to do business with the staff at Honda of Dulles. I felt at home in the consistently warm and friendly atmosphere of "can I help you." I hated their Car repair service. I live in Ashburn and I have Honda civic 1998 one owner car, 100K miles. My check engine light got on and I took it to them. Intially after diagnosis they told me its gonna have Honda civic 1998 one owner car, 100K miles. My check engine light got on and I took it to them. Intially after diagnosis they told me its gonna cast $325. I agreed. After few hours they called me after chaging parts that it needs more repair and gave me estimation of $700. Well I agreed. Then they told me it needs a fuse and that will be available tomorrow. Now I was stuck because they already changed few parts. So the final bill was $1167. I paid that money and after 1 day my car stopped at the middle of waxpool road. I almost got killed because they cars come at very high speed. I took my car back to them 3 times and after a day it stops. Now they told me that the have a mechanic who has 32 years experience with Honda and he thinks that some wiring needs to be replaced which connects the car computer. since car engine light just turned on and now it is not even moving I agreed for more repairs. They charged me $138 more. All it means that my car didnt need any alternator to be changed, battery or any other parts. Thats how their diagnostics process works. The even dont know what needs to be changed in the car. So today 1/13/2012 my cars engine light came back and when I took my car again, they are telling me that it needs a new computer which is $1000. What the xxxx .If you guys knew that my car needs a new computer why u keep on changing parts and charging me for nothing. my car is still at the shop. I received an excellent customer service when i went to purchase my Honda CRV. Singh was very friendly in giving me all the information on the car and going through its manual. If it weren't for his way of handling the sale of the car, I wouldn't have purchased from the Dulles dealer and might have looked futher. Not only that but when the car tire was cut, he helped me find my way at the dealer that day and get it done right away, saving me time and effort as this happened on a saturday. I would recommend him to anyone I know who would want to buy a Honda. i still contact Singh should I need to ask anything regarding my car. More
