Appreciated the lack of pressure from salesman and friendly attitude. I thought the whole experience took at least five hours which was way too long. You would think they could have picked up some coffee at Starbucks or somewhere close as we were there for another couple hours? The finance manager was sweet however too inexperienced. I think he would be better as a salesman. My friends had to practically force him to do a second credit check with my own bank. And in fact it did lower the interest rate on my loan. But he never explained in simple clear language how the loan actually worked for me as a first time applier. I actually had to rephrase what I think he was saying from his quick talk and jargon what it meant. Also I never saw what I will be paying for the car in total after it is paid off?? At that point only my girlfriend and I were left. So we had to figure these things out or just forget any more details. And actually it was my girlfriend who said I have three days to resend on this deal which he never mentioned. And also she brought up that I could also refinance later from this very high unexpected rate. So a bit more forthrightness and disclosure should’ve happened. More
