I just purchased/leased my fifth Honda from AutoWay of Clearwater and I will continue to go back to that dealership, without a doubt! My previous salesman, Steve Yader had left the dealership since my la Clearwater and I will continue to go back to that dealership, without a doubt! i called and spoke with Clint Fortier and explained exactly what i was looking for. He had a Dan ready to greet me when i arrived. My wife and I have been purchasing our vehicles for the past 20 years from my nephew who deals wholesale. We would tell him what we were looking for and he would find one for us at the auction, purchase it past 20 years from my nephew who deals wholesale. We would tell him what we were looking for and he would find one for us at the auction, purchase it, then sell it to us at wholesale cost. Absolutely no hassles or haggling. They usually had a little more than 10K miles and we pretty much had to take what colors were available. We wanted to avoid those wretched dealership horror stories. I recently joined USAA to lower our car insurance payments. On the USAA website, I saw they had a car purchasing program and we had been saying we need to update at least one of our cars. We could not afford a large monthly payment so we set our goal in the very low $20Ks with a large down payment. From reviews, word of mouth, and our own personal feelings, we narrowed our choices down to Nissan, Honda, and Toyota. We spent a Saturday going to 3 different brands of dealerships to sit in cars to see what we thought we liked the most. My wife originally thought she wanted the Camry but the Accord won out. With the Accord in mind, I began the USAA purchasing process. We were contacted by one Honda dealership in our area and began internet/phone correspondence with them. We soon realized that this dealer and sales person did not have us in their best interest. We were then contacted via email by Jack Goldstein, the internet car sales rep for Autoway Honda in Clearwater. Right away from the first contact, we realized that Jack was going to work for us and with us. He immediately gave us an out the door number that was in the range we were looking for and made us feel very comfortable by telling us there would be no surprises on their end. I went to the Autoway website and looked at the new car inventory of Accords. There was only one Silver color left on the lot so I emailed Jack and asked him to hold it for us which he did. We made an appointment to meet with Jack on a Sunday at 2 PM. When he greeted us, he was extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable. The whole sales process went smoothly and he worked hard while we were there to keep our visit as short as possible. While Jack was out making sure the vehicle was being cleaned, the sales manager Casey Newman came to see us and he was very friendly and courteous. We indicated we were not interested in any add-ons so he proceeded to enter our data into their system. In a short while, we were in his office signing papers for the agreed upon price. Shortly after that, Jack took us out to the car and explained all of the internal operation and features. He wished us well, thanked us for the business, and we drove off as happy and satisfied customers. The experience with this dealership was surprising and pleasant. More
