I have been driving Honda's for 30 years and have leased or purchased 20+ vehicles during that time. I have had Accord coupes, sedans, 2 crosstours an CRV, and HRV. I have always been treated well by whoever was working my deals. I was taking my HRV in for a recall on the steering greasing problem and let Brandon in sales I would be there. To make a long story shorter Brandon, and CJ were ready for me and we worked together in a cordial professional manner and were able to come to terms on a new lease for a 2025CRV Exl. They treat customers as part of the Honda family and work diligently to make the transaction come to fruission. More

I recently bought a new CR-V from AutoNation Honda Clearwater with no window sticker attached at delivery (an undetailed car). When I got home and realized it was not there I went through a difficult Clearwater with no window sticker attached at delivery (an undetailed car). When I got home and realized it was not there I went through a difficult process to contact my salesman who did not respond until he inadvertently texted me thinking I was a new prospective customer! When I respectfully asked for the label he blew me off saying sorry it was thrown away during storm cleanup and offered no help. When I pressed and told him I was there the day after the storm and there was no "cleanup" (and no building damage) he said then the regular office cleaning crew threw it away off his desk. I was also told there was a "copy" made of it and requested same by email but this was and has been ignored by multiple people at the dealership. After additional wasted time trying to resolve this I heard from someone else who said they ordered a Monroney Label from Honda by Overnight FedEx on Friday October 17 (yet provided an image showing that Overnight delivery was "declined). It's now Thursday October 24, there is no label or contact from the dealer, and no one will respond to my daily messages. The window sticker is for consumer protection, is required by Federal law to be affixed to every new car sold in the United States, and can only be removed by the consumer (Chapter 28, Sections 1231-1233, Title 15 of the United States Code). The dealer's delivery of the vehicle without it, the intentional withholding of it after numerous requests, the falsehoods and now non-response of the dealer increasingly suggests unethical or unlawful practices such the coverup of some type of misrepresentation in the sale. At this point my only option left is to see what formal steps I can take to get this reported to Honda Motor Co and the available consumer agencies and see where this goes. All I am trying to do is get them to do what is already required of them as a new care seller. Too bad for me that I optimistically selected this particular dealer when there are several in Tampa Bay. So much for goodwill and the pleasure of buying a new Honda! More
