I've been going to SanTan Honda for over two years and drive out of my way to take our Odyssey there because of the exceptional staff & service we always receive from EVERYONE. The dealership has a kids room which makes it more convenient for me to take my small children and we've even taken advantage of the van shuttle to the mall before. The air conditioner was malfunctioning and I had just finished a round of golf in a 114 degree temperature. So I took my car in around 2PM without an appointment. This was when they were still Honda Cars of Mesa - the reason they changed their name and didn't even use "Honda Cars of" when they moved is apparently due to the terrible reputation they had in their old location so they didn't want to risk using any portion of their old name (according to other Honda dealerships in the valley). Not only was I lied to and told the adjuster hadn't seen the car when in fact they had already received the check to fix it 5 days before, they still did not start work for another week and took 2 1/2 months to complete the work (according to other reputable sources I have used before, a job that should have taken 3 weeks to do), and tried to keep it another week blaming the insurance company for not listing a seatbelt even though they had had the vehicle torn apart for months and knew that the driver's bag had deployed and the seatbelt was probably damaged. My vehicle was also returned filthy, with dirty rags thrown into it, and I was treated rudely every time I asked when the vehicle would be done. Their mechanics were even incapable of screwing in a headlamp correctly, which was discovered by Tempe Honda (where I bought my Pilot) when I complained to them months later that one of my headlights was pointed at the ground. If there was a way to rate this company with a zero, I would. More
