Went to Service dept today (sat 12/10) and Mike C, told me at 12 noon that i could not get service without an appointment, never even checked to see if bay was available.... i decided to go to Tempe Honda. me at 12 noon that i could not get service without an appointment, never even checked to see if bay was available.... i decided to go to Tempe Honda... on the drive there, being curious I called San Tan service and talked to Chad, he told me he thought he could get me in, I said I needed to know if i can get rear pads on, not maybe... then said he could get them done.... I continued to Tempe and called they said come on in and will get pads on no trouble.... got there and was out in 1-1/2 hour... awesome work at Tempe and Mike C awful customer service and for that i will NVER return to San Tan Honda for any of my Hondas and will promise none of my friends will get service there as well.... HORRIBLE, san tan....... Tempe Honda AWESOME service!!!!! San Tan has since contacted me and explained situation, and has offered to maintain a good service record with me, which in the past was a very good service group... thank you San Tan and will visit again. Everyone should get a second chance More
I tried to purchase a Honda at the dealership. The used car salesman was rude when attemtping to negotaite with him. He said "we need to make a buck too" implying that he was not making enough on the deal car salesman was rude when attemtping to negotaite with him. He said "we need to make a buck too" implying that he was not making enough on the deal when it was already revealed prior to him what the dealership actually paid for the vehicle and how long it was on the dealer lot. I went to a Honda dealer in Scottsdale and purchased the same Honda and had a pleasant, efficient experience. Unfortunately, because I live so close to San Tan Honda, it was the easiest place to get the vehicle serviced. Most services were a hassle. The worst part of my experience though has to be in teh last year after I have already sold my Honda. I have received no less than 10 calls from the dealership asking if I would come by and trade my Honda or have service done on my Honda. Each time, I have told the 5+ salespersons, the 1 sales manager, and the 4+ service personnel that I have sold my Honda and to please put it in their system to not call me anymore. On 12/8/11 at approximately 3:35 p.m., I received another call from someone in service. They said I was due for a service. I asked them if they had a compuer system that was connected to all department. She said yes. I asked if there were any notes. She said yes, but she said that even though the dealership policy is for calls to get noted, not everyone followed the policy. She then looked at the case notes and indicated that none of the prior 10+ people had noted that I had called and to take me out of their system. My recommendation: avoid every department. The dealership needs a management consultant to review policies, procedures and personnel and perform a major overhaul. Anyone may feel free to call me. Matthew S. Schultz, Esq. He made her really comforta in for service. But she was so greatful for the for the help she received from your Express Service Advisor, Steve Cyman. He made her really comfortable with his manner and friendliness. Her reaction was, everything was A1 with him. She made sure to tell me, if there was any kind of review coming by telephone or email, I was to make sure I said "The whole experience was great." I want to say thank you. More
We have an 8 year old Honda Odyssey with 90,000 miles. We knew it was time for a transmission flush and called around to several places to get an estimate. Not only did Santan Honda have the most competi We knew it was time for a transmission flush and called around to several places to get an estimate. Not only did Santan Honda have the most competitive price, they also used ONLY genuine Honda parts. Our vehicle was done earlier than expected and the entire experience was pleasant. I do want to thank them for their patience as both my husband and I had been ill and had to reschedule this appointment twice. They were very professional and understanding which we really appreciated. Everyone in this dealership was courteous and demonstrated great customer service. More
I took in a used car (from private seller) to get an inspection prior to purchasing. I spoke to Miranda because she was the first person I saw. She couldn't have been more helpful! Even though I walked inspection prior to purchasing. I spoke to Miranda because she was the first person I saw. She couldn't have been more helpful! Even though I walked in on a Saturday with no appointment she squeezed me in. Only an hour later she called me and told me the car ready and that she had some bad news. Turns out the car had some major transmission issues. Thanks to Miranda, I saved THOUSANDS of dollars! Once I do purchase the Honda I'm looking for, I will be taking it back there for service. More
The service and personnel were excellent. My only complaint is the cost - other dealerships I have dealt with charge much less for the oil change service and inspections. I come to San Tan Honda bec complaint is the cost - other dealerships I have dealt with charge much less for the oil change service and inspections. I come to San Tan Honda because they are only 20 minutes from my home while original dealer is an hour away and what I spend in gas and time going there equates to about what I am paying at San Tan. It's a trade off I'm not real happy with but.............. I gave the quality of work a "good" rating rather than great because I've not yet had to have anything major repaired on either of my Honda vehicles. They did point out I needed new tires on the CR-V (after only 27000 miles!) and provided me with a printout for new ones. I compared your pricing to Sears auto, Goodyear and Big O and found a much better deal at Big O. But, I appreciated the fact that your technicians let me know that the tires needed replacing. (the original tires were Bridgestone put on when the car was built - I did not buy more of the same.) I will probably continue to bring my cars to San Tan Honda. More
We had a vibration in the front of our Honda Accord. We went through two sets of tires with no improvement in the vibration. We took the car to Dustin McBride at San Tan Honda. He took the time necessary went through two sets of tires with no improvement in the vibration. We took the car to Dustin McBride at San Tan Honda. He took the time necessary to identify the source of the vibration, fixed it correctly and was able to get the Accord running like new. Dustin and the dealership are to be commended for their tenacity in identifying the problem and ensuring the correct repairs were applied. Ward M More
Van having a difficult time turning over.... my husband took to Honda San Tan service department. They had it for a few hours.... Darian told my husband 'can't find that there is a problem'. (with all the took to Honda San Tan service department. They had it for a few hours.... Darian told my husband 'can't find that there is a problem'. (with all their technology and certified mechanics... how did they not even see that the airbag warning light was on?) My husband brought my car back to me and said that the van was cleared... nothing, that they could find, was wrong with it. Oh yah? Then why does it have such a difficult time starting. Just five five days later... at church... car would not start.... and would not start and would not start. Finally after sitting for 10 minutes... with attempting to try starting after a rest... it started. We took my car to our friend, who is a mechanic, and after looking at if for a short time... found that the starter was blitzed. What? How on earth did the guys at the Honda dealership not find this???? I was so mad. What a waste of time. Our friend also found that our brake pads needed to be replaced. You would think that any business, in this horrible economy, would emphasis customer service and quality work. Guess this dealership is doing just fine with their business and are not worried about customer satisfaction. More
