As I was leaving for a trip, I had a tire that required service. Doug worked me in so that I not only didn't have to cancel my trip, but was also able to get on the road with only a short delay. My Stepson had his car towed there to have the Key reprogrammed from an attempted theft. Thieves damaged the lock cylinder so it was replaced before bringing onto the dealer lot. all they had to do wa reprogrammed from an attempted theft. They told him they could not establish communication with the car and needed to charge him $600 electrical diagnosis to determine why. I live a little ways away from my Stepson so I took the trip to help him out. I have a ThinkDiag app on my phone and when I arrived at the dealer they had it stored on the back lot. so first thing I found was the battery was dead, "wow, no wonder it wouldn't communicate. we took the batter to the local Auto Zone and get it charged. took it back and hooked it up I connected the ThinkDiag device to the OBDII port entered the VIN number, gained access to the Immobilizer programmed the new key and drove it off the lot in 20 minutes. Wow! how hard was that. The sad part was that he called them in advance and they said they could handle the job but yet they either didn't have enough common sense to check battery voltage "Troubleshooting 101" not to mention anytime you intend to update a computer you ALWAYS make sure you have FULL POWER available. They apparently didn't put a voltmeter across the battery terminal to see what it read. Instead they pushed it out to the back lot and demanded another $600 to troubleshoot an electrical system for which there was nothing wrong except it needed the battery charged from the thieves leaving the door ajar all night. It never ceases to amaze me at how Auto Dealers like to take advantage of people. I wish these stars would rate in a negative direction I would certainly give them a negative -5 review. these people are either worthless or intended to over inflate their profit for a 20 minute job. worthless absolutely workless. Service Department was OUTSTANDING. In transit through Memphis, I called about a problem with my new CRV. These gentlemen invited me to stop by, evaluated the problem (which could not be reproduced), took Memphis, I called about a problem with my new CRV. They assured us that all was well and safe to continue our journey home to Maryland. Beyond that, both Buzz and Donnie were most pleasant, caring, and involved in the issue. They are both good, kind, Christian gentlemen, and I would have no hesitation taking any vehicle to them for service. Highly recommend their shop! More
