Work with Jason at AutoNation on an issue with my 2015 Honda, explained it was a non-standard part and it might take a couple of days. BEWARE! I’m out $15k+ and losing hundreds of dollars a month from not having a car because of their lying, deceptive, and unethical practices. I purchased a Ford Focus in March and within a month the car broke down. I took it to their shop where the mechanics told me to f*** off and refused to even look at the car. They tried to lie and tell me I didn’t have any warranty, even though I did. I finally took the car to a Ford dealer where they immediately realized that the entire transmission needed rebuilt (A $5K+ BILL!!), as well as needing a new TCM - a part that won’t be available for a full year due to parts shortages. So much for the ‘thorough quality inspection’ that AutoNation claims to conduct!! I tried calling AutoNation for a month before getting in touch with the user car manager, who quickly started ignoring my calls. I filed a complaint with AutoNation corporate - they never responded, but Dan eventually called me a few weeks later. When I made my case, he flat out refused to take the car back or admit that AutoNation had made a mistake. It’s been two more months now, and he hasn’t answered any more of my calls. At this point I’m out $15k+, losing hundreds of dollars a month from not having a car, can’t afford to buy a second car, and have no idea what to do. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!! More
