Receiving this survey request following having my vehicle serviced for oil change. Upon arriving to drop off my vehicle I had a positive interaction with the two gentlemen at the service counter. However, up serviced for oil change. Upon arriving to drop off my vehicle I had a positive interaction with the two gentlemen at the service counter. However, upon my return to retrieve my vehicle this wasn’t the case. The service person; I believe his name was Anthony, was extremely disrespectful and rude! I introduced myself upon arriving to let him know who I was and the reason I was there because he was not one of the two gentlemen interacted with earlier. Anthony never acknowledged me while I stood in front of him and took a phone call that he engaged loudly using the speaker phone feature. After 2 minutes of me still standing there while he debated about a battery issue with someone who seemed to be a service tech and still no acknowledgment from him, I say to him “Excuse me”…He simply responded “What!” To which I replied “Can you assist me in obtaining my vehicle because I have another appointment?” He just stares at me and continues to talk on the phone and looked angry that I said anything to him. He rolls his eyes and finally gets off the phone after another 2 minutes. I let him know I was interested in receiving a price on some windshield wipers because I received an email informing me they were on sale. He argued with me saying they didn’t send me an email to which I stated I could pull up the email I received from AutoNation. He then stated they don’t have any for my car without checking his computer. I then asked what the cost would be and he replied $79 a piece and then said they can’t order for my car. Again never checking his computer! He then walks off to print my service paperwork and as he was handing to me he drops it on the floor! He never attempted to pick it up! I finally get my keys. Another gentleman entered the service desk area and immediately acknowledged me and was pretty nice. He wasn’t there during my initial encounter with Anthony and I didn’t complain to him about my experience I basically left at this point, I don’t have any complaints about the service work, only the rude and disrespectful treatment by Anthony and I am trying to not believe it was due to me being a woman of a different race than Anthony. I wasn’t going to report it but a friend encouraged I leave an honest review and maybe it would discourage this from occurring to others by Anthony. Thank you. More
