Dealer did not honor warr Terrible experiences with AutoNation Ford Westlake. I do not recommend buying a car from this establishment. Unreliable car. Dealer did not honor warranty. On 09/25/2019, we bought a used 2014 Ford Focus for our daughter in college. Twelve days later, on 10/06/2019, the car was blowing oil all over the place. We immediately attempted to contact the sales person "Bob," who gave us the "call me anytime you need anything," sales spiel at the time of sale. Bob did not call us back. We drove the car to the dealership and when we approached customer service, we were met by Bob and the finance manager, who were no help at all, shrugged their shoulders and said we'd have to contact the service department which was closed at the time. When we inquired about a loaner car, they were equally unhelpful and stated they did not have one and that would also have to be arranged by the service department. The next day, the service dept. informed us they did not have a loaner car. It was necessary for them to replace a gasket and reseal valve cover and they noted a ball joint had "excessive amount of play" and replaced. After only having this car for 12 days, they informed my husband, that we would have to pay $100 deductible on the EXTENDED WARRANTY we purchased, for the work that was required! The "AUTONATION Limited Warranty Coverage" states "seals and gaskets" are covered for 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first; we had put 512 miles on the car at that time. When we picked up the car from the AUTONATION service center, Lynn, the clerk at the counter, stated there was "no charge" and the balance was "$0." I inquired about the $100 deductible that "Brian" told my husband we owed, and she again confirmed, "No, the balance is $0." I thought they were honoring the limited warranty and left. A week later, Brian called my husband and told him, "they made a mistake and we did indeed owe $100." Unfortunately, my husband paid the $100 that we had no obligation to pay. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from these people, and would deter anyone else from doing so. More
I Want To Give You Money But Your Service is That Bad. I have a pre owned 2019 Ford Mustang. I have been trying to find a solution to replace my digital instrument cluster as the vehicle was made in Canada. I have been attempting now for about 3 weeks to get some kind of an answer from Barry the Service manager. Give me a price. Give me something.. It just so happened I also received one of those “We hope you had a great experience at our dealership” letters from Dean the General Sales Manager so I figured maybe he could help so I reached out.. Guess what... no response either. I will be reaching back out to Ford regarding the open case for this issue and hopefully they can recommend a dealership that still knows what basic customer service is. More
This is what buying a new vehicle should be like! I am a second time buyer from this dealership. Had a great experience the first time. Hans was easy to work with. No high sales pressure. A good liste I am a second time buyer from this dealership. Had a great experience the first time. Hans was easy to work with. No high sales pressure. A good listener. That s why I came back. They didn't have the magma red truck I wanted.Dean got involved at that point. They worked for the better part of a day to locate one in Michigan and put a deal together with that dealership. The end result I am a proud owner of a 2019 F-150. My thanks to both of them as well as Mariah in finance. Another GREAT buying experience. More

very good serivce I bought my 2017 Ford Escape here because I thought it was the best value . I love my car but unfortunately it needed a major repair recently. It w I bought my 2017 Ford Escape here because I thought it was the best value . I love my car but unfortunately it needed a major repair recently. It was covered under warranty but my car would have to stay there until they got the part from Ford , which we all know can be a long time sometimes. The service department was very courtesy and helpful , Jayson always called me to let me know what was going on with my car. They gave me a loner car and sometimes I had to go in to get another loner car because of the length of car waiting for the part. They always made sure though that I had one. The car finally came out of service and it is driving good now. I am not sure why everyone is complaining about the service , the girls there are nice and helpful and they even have courtesy cars there so if you go in for the oil change and want to go somewhere they will drive you to your destination and pick you up. I don't get that elsewhere where I go to get my cars fixed and the service guys have the ford training to fix the cars. I am very happy with the service that was provided. More

My husband recently took it in for an oil change and it took over 3 hours, Not long after leaving his dashboard lit up with tire pressures in the front were 84/85 and back were 68/68. The last time it was serviced, it took days longer than it was supposed to, there were issues with it right after he left. We purchased the truck there because we knew a salesperson. It was a huge mistake. Their follow up service is horrible. More

I had the appointment scheduled for weeks prior to drop-off and they were fully aware of the reasons it was being serviced. After having the truck all day, I called to check on the status and was informed that they needed to order the part for the rear seatbelt recall. It's disheartening to know that they didn't make sure they had the necessary parts, especially knowing the reasons for the service appointment. There was also a repair needed to fix the doors, so they would latch shut. Less than 24 hours after picking up the truck initially for service, the passenger doors were still not latching shut. I understand that I should've checked them before leaving the first time, but I was already agitated knowing I had to return it for service another day. Eventually, after some struggle from the service department, the door latch issue was repaired. We posted a less than positive review on google. The GM, Dean, had reached out and requested that I call to discuss my experience with their service department. I did call and left a message (on 02/01/2019) for him to return my call and still have not received a return call. The customer care rep, after notifying me that the repairs were complete, wanted to see what they could do so we would change our initial review. I went to this dealership for convenience. However, I will not go back due to the lack of preparation and follow through. It appears, when all is said and done, that they are only concerned about their "reviews". I understand the importance that these reviews play, but nothing in the review was inaccurate. To try and manipulate them just shows what kind of place this really is. More
I'm not unreasonable, but bad trade offers and poor finance I have had multiple experience with this dealership, and each time I have left disappointed and managed to get a better deal elsewhere. I don't believ I have had multiple experience with this dealership, and each time I have left disappointed and managed to get a better deal elsewhere. I don't believe I am unreasonable, but interest rates and trade offers are the main reason for not doing business with AutoNation Ford. During my last and final visit, I thought the attitude of the finance person was terrible. If this would have been my first visit, it would have been my last based on his attitude alone. Just a few days later, I got a deal on an almost identical car from an east side dealer, which an interest rate 2%+ lower than I was offered by AutoNation Ford as their best and final. I have great credit. In addition, the salesman called less than 5 months after my last visit to discuss cars I had visited looking to purchase, despite the fact that I communicated to him shortly after making a deal elsewhere via email...twice! Avoid this dealer. Plenty of Ford dealers in NE Ohio that I could personally vouch for through personal buying experiences. More
