Overall I am pleased with my purchase, and service. I am however dismayed that shortly after purchasing my vehicle I let them know about noise coming from the brakes. My salesman said they just put new brakes on it and they needed to break in. Then when I took it for another issue I tried to tell the service lady about the brake noise, she just said that there was nothing found, regarding the first problem, and walked away while I was trying to explain the brake noise. Also I had to retrieve my vehicle from outside in bad weather. I brought the vehicle in for maintenance service, and was treated much better by a different service writer, Ashley. She has only been there a short time, but she took the time to listen to me and address the issue. My car was cleaned and brought to me in the service area indoors. I will still utilize the service department as I have an extended warranty, and the service department does good work. Our previous purchase was thru this dealership and went well. More
I had an oil change and tire rotation, left the vehicle there and it took almost four hours for the service to be completed. Was somewhat surprised that it took so long. I've gotten 3 vehicles from Autonation and in the 16 years I've dealt with them have only had 2 not so great experiences. I had previously been working with Bob Walker Jr, but Bob left Autonation and I was then passed to Frankie Assad. I reached out to Frankie to update him while my F-150 was being built and he seemed to pick u left Autonation and I was then passed to Frankie Assad. I reached out to Frankie to update him while my F-150 was being built and he seemed to pick up right where Bob & I left off and had all my details and info ready to go, which was a great feeling. However, during the finance process I felt the process went quickly and rushed, like I was trying to be shown numbers and just sign off without being given a proper explanation, even when asking questions. Luckily, I have a background in finance so I get the numbers relatively easily, but for other people, the experience may not have been as pleasant and/or can lead to poor outcomes. In addition, I would have liked to be given a brief tour of the F-150 before pulling out of the lot, but due to time of day and weather, it was a quick goodbye. Since I was pretty familiar and experienced with the F-150 I didn't particularly need a tour, but for others new to Ford, may be a problem if no intro/tour given. Overall, great experience going with AutoNation Ford Westlake and will definitely consider them for the next vehicle purchase. More
