Ashley does a great job. She had fit me in several times with short notice. I recently bought new tires and she researched the different brands to help me get the best value. We have bought six vechicles from this dealership over the last 20 years. More
Autonation Ford Westlake is very responsive to customers and even made room for my truck on the schedule when it was towed in on a couple of occasions. I made an appointment on line with Auto Nation for service to commence on Thursday 9/9/22 at 10:00 AM. The request was to address the recall notice received from Ford, oil change, and rotate tires and service to commence on Thursday 9/9/22 at 10:00 AM. The request was to address the recall notice received from Ford, oil change, and rotate tires and check tire pressure. My car was running FINE! An appointment in Akron made it impossible to get there by 10:00 AM. I called the dealership, requested the Service Department and the phone was never answered. After connecting with Ashley, I brought my 2020 Ford Escape to Auto Nation on Thursday afternoon, and was told I would receive a phone call the next morning on the status of my car. The call was never received, nor did I receive a text or voicemail. Again, I called the service department multiple times and the calls were never answered. I left a message for Ashley. She finally called Friday afternoon saying my car was ready to be picked up. I left the Auto Nation lot around 4:15 PM on Friday. The car was driving poorly, including hesitating, dropping speed and spewing out plumes of black smoke from the tailpipe. Before reaching my destination, less than 8 miles away, the car completely died and gave a warning to get out of the car immediately. I called Auto Nation and was told Ashley was not available. I told another person what had happened and she arranged to have the car towed. I called Saturday to speak to someone in the service department and the call was never answered, except by someone in the Showroom. I was told Ashley was not working so no one could help me till Monday. I asked to speak with Auto Nation general manager, got his voicemail, left a message but never got a return phone call. Ashley called Monday afternoon and said the car could be picked up. I never received an explanation as to what caused the issues with the car. When a customer comes to the service department there is a high counter with multiple people behind it. Each time I went there these people were talking to each other and not looking very busy. Why are they not answering the phone when a customer calls? I will never set foot in Auto Nation Service Department or Dealership again, and will tell all of my family and friend to avoid Auto Nation. More
