My vehicle was serviced due to a recall. The mechanical "fix" seems to have been done correctly -- no issues there. Fix was done quickly too -- in just over an hour in a very busy service center. Customer service folks were very pleasant. Only 2 minor recommended improvements: 1) I called the morning of my appointment to confirm appointment time and ask about estimated repair time. I called 4 times over an hour and a half before anyone answered the phone. 2) Upon arrival at the service center, took a few minutes to meet with customer service despite 2 service folks looking "free" to meet the next customer. Then when it was my turn, the service person said I had to be seen by the other service person (I was on HER assignment list). . .and another short wait ensued. But everyone was very nice! More

I was not very pleased with my recent visit the AutoNation Ford Westlake. I took my car there to be serviced for the following…. -New tires needed. -Regular maintenance such as an oil change a AutoNation Ford Westlake. I took my car there to be serviced for the following…. -New tires needed. -Regular maintenance such as an oil change and such. -There is a jerking during acceleration in my vehicle that I believe has to do with the transmission. -New rim needed due to a pothole I hit, and I asked for the complimentary inspection to make sure nothing else was wrong. When I left the car they gave me a rental because they said it wouldn’t be ready until the next day (Friday). It was nice of them to provide a rental. When Friday rolled around I never heard from them so I called in the late afternoon (around 3:30 pm) to find out what was going on. They told they would need to keep the car longer. Thank you for not communicating that at all until I had to call them. They ended not calling me to tell me it was ready until the following Wednesday at something like 5:30 pm on the day before Thanksgiving. I believe they close at 6:00 pm. I was already on the road for my Thanksgiving trip and they said I could just come on Friday. I stopped by to pick it up at around 10:30 am on Friday. After driving my car for about 2 minutes I noticed a loud deep grinding noise. I immediately took it back and they had a mechanic ride with me. He heard it within a few seconds. So obviously no one took my car for a test drive or did the requested inspection or they would have noticed this. They said they needed to put my car up on the rack to look at it and noticed right away that it was a bad wheel bearing on the tire that the rim was replaced. Once again, no one obviously care to inspect me car or made sure nothing else was wrong. For some reason I was there until around 1:00 pm for them to tell me this. A good 2.5 hours of my time wasted on something that should have been fixed when they had it for 8 days. Then they could not tell me how long it would take to replace the wheel bearing so I said I would come back another day since I didn’t have all day to wait on this. I brought it back on the following Monday morning and it took them about 4 hours to replace the wheel bearing. Another 4 hours wasted of my time for something that should have been fixed when they had my car for 8 days. I don’t believe I’ll ever go back to this service center for any service. I will find another place to have my car serviced. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else go there either! More
