We have been looking at the electric Mustang Mach-E for a while, but the mark ups at most Ford dealers have been obscene, as much as 50%! We had talked with Rene at Ford Valencia a few months ago and he told us he'd keep an eye out. So, when Rene called us a week ago, I admit, I was skeptical. He had a 2022 Mach-E Premium, everything we wanted, and the markup was reasonable. We dropped by later in the day, took the car for a test drive, and sat down to make the deal. Full disclosure, I hate car buying. I hate the whole process. But Rene and the folks at AutoNation Ford Valencia made it mostly painless. We knew their price going in, they gave us a very fair price on our trade in and set up financing for us. There was the usual optional add ons presented, but there was no pressure, and they were willing to give us a deal on the one item we were considering (although we ultimately didn't add it). This is our first return to a domestic carmaker in 20 years, and Ford Valencia did right by us. Reasonable price, great folks to work with. Definitely worth a look. More
