I'm not sure what you can do - as I mentioned on the survey, I encountered so frequently, "There's nothing I can do!" BUT I did purchase the vehicle from Auto Nation Tustin - and when I did, I purchased an Auto Nation Platinum "Bumper to Bumper" Warranty as a protection against this kind of "surprise" repair in the first five years. Inexplicably, the one time I needed a repair on a part that was arguably faulty, I was told that the warranty "Does not cover it." How on earth does a "Bumper to Bumper" warranty NOT cover something. Oh, by the way, I was EXCEPTIONALLY clear when I purchased it that I did NOT want a warranty sold as "Bumper to Bumper" that excluded ANY repair, and I was reassured that there was nothing on the vehicle that was not covered. So you can see how I might feel betrayed twice by the Auto Nation Dealership - first in the service experience and then going all the way back to the purchasing experience where I was mislead after trying to be very clear on what I was purchasing. The best solution at this point is to either refund me the charges for the part and repair or refund me the amount for the warranty that obviously is not considered "Bumper to Bumper" now that a repair is actually needed. Thanks for reaching out again, but you can see I'm very frustrated and hurt. If you can still help me after all this, please DO! Jeff, There is something missing in the process. 3-hour oil change? What does Tustin Ford Service Department consider a reasonable amount of time for this service? I live in Whittier, which means I drive by at least 3 other Ford dealers to get to you. My experience with buying the truck with Zack and Alex was a very good one. My reason for coming all the way to Tustin in the first place was because of a network referral through my son and a couple of his connections in the auto industry. I ordered the truck, it took a little while to get it, but Zack honored the original deal and pricing. I felt a responsibility to give the service department my business even with the added distance to get there. What do you suggest? Regards, Russell
