I stopped by the dealership two weeks ago unannounced with my vehicle towed, without ful ser of keys and needed to change all the access codes, since it all electric SUV. The General Manage Ryan Mathew with my vehicle towed, without ful ser of keys and needed to change all the access codes, since it all electric SUV. The General Manage Ryan Mathews was so helpful to get vehicle taken care of, without any hesitation. He called three of four different individuals to accommodate me. During that time he introduced me to the Service Department Manager Ryan Bensfield. This man was also extremely helpful and made sure my vehicle was safe and was worked on immediately. Sadly, you don’t get to see this kind of service these days. Seriously! This is the NORM! This is my dealership of choice to service my Mustang. Thank you guys! More
Sorry to have to give a one star review - I don't do that lightly. Long story... I will summarize quickly. Get a letter about a Ford recall. It says "call first to make sure we have the part in stock" that lightly. Long story... I will summarize quickly. Get a letter about a Ford recall. It says "call first to make sure we have the part in stock". I make an appointment for the recall repair (told it's a 3-4 hour job), drop off truck with service advisor Greg Jones, add an oil change. I asked him if they have the part and he says "It shouldn't be a problem, I'm sure we do." AutoNation Ford Sanford Greg calls me in 2 hours saying the truck is ready. Shuttle says he's on the way and I don't get picked up for an hour and 30 minutes. I'm told the driver went home and they had to find somebody to fill in. The assistant service manager John Erber picks me up. I get home and read the receipt and see the recall work was not performed. I call and Greg then tells me they didn't have the part. Greg Jones failed to mention that when he called me saying the truck was ready *AND* when I saw him to pick up the truck. He literally put a pen in my hand and said, sign here and you will be on your way! He rushed me out, and now I know why... but why didn't he want to be forthcoming and tell the truth? Dropped the truck at 8AM, now it's 5PM. I call the service manager, RYAN BENSFIELD, and can't get him on the phone, an employee tells me they are hard to catch and if I want to talk to management I should come in personally, which I do at 9AM the next morning. I talk to Ryan Bensfield the service manager and he apologizes and tells me we have something like 13,000 of these coming June 22 so email me personally on June 28 and I will make sure we have the part and set one aside for you, then you are safe to make the appointment again. Haha, I emailed on July 2 and again on July 10 & 11, no replies. Tried calling his "Direct line", Cisco system doesn't recognize the extension and disconnects. As of now I have also left two messages with him at the dealership, no return calls. Really, quite unbelievable. On top of dealership prices and their marketing tactics, I'd love to boycott the dealership but unfortunately, there are certain service issues that need to be performed only by them. There are always issues with this Sanford location whenever I get service there. More

Both times I felt that I was trying to be sold things that I didn't need for an extremely high price like the ~$500 tune up (over half of that cost was just changing spark plugs). I never feel like they are looking out for my best interest or trying to be helpful. I have never complained in the past because I don't write negative reviews unless I feel it is warranted to warn others of my experience which just recently happened. I went to Coggin Ford in Orange City to get my tires replaced because I didn't trust the service team at Autonation for anything more than an oil change and thank goodness I made that move. When they went to remove the tires all 16 lugnuts had been stripped (it appeared that it was from applying too much torque). They had to work on them with a hammer for the tires to finally come off. I had just been into Autonation less than a week earlier for an oil change and had, unfortunately, had the tires rotated as well. I had to pay an extra $200 for 16 lugnuts due to them being stripped. Even though it is at least twice the distance from my house I will always make sure to take my Ford into Coggin in Orange City instead of Autonation in Sanford. I am glad that I found a dealership that I can trust that does the job right, keeps me informed, and cares about the quality of job that they do on my car. More
I hate giving bad reviews but with no input there could never be change. This review is only for the service center. I've been a customer for 4 years now and I think this has been the worse. Service rep wa never be change. This review is only for the service center. I've been a customer for 4 years now and I think this has been the worse. Service rep was Louie walked in 5 min before appointment for a simple oil change and check on a recall. I try to explain that this to my service rep doesn't listen. I tell with the papers in hand again he tells me about another recall. 3rd time I had to tell him in a rude way to stop and to read the paper so he understood what I was asking for. Then I asked how much is the oil change 79.00 dollars was the my understanding. His answer: I believe so not this is what it is no do you need anything else nothing. He said oil change and tire rotation note I came in for the oil change. I said is that included he said yes oil change and tire rotation. He said ok left me standing there did all his stuff and said that's it. I got a call the car was ready picked it up went to pay he was not there maybe out to lunch not issue. The new rep told me your charges are 114.00. I ask what was service he said oil change and tire rotation I asked isn't that included he said no I said I just came for the oil change and recall notice. He apologized removed the charge I paid and went on my way. I always check under the hood just to make sure all is in place before I do so i get out of the car my hands smell like oil I said alright they forgot to wipe it down no problem. looked under the hood the air filter cap was not hooked up right. Needles to say you don't get what you paid for I don't want go on but just be aware if your getting service here. If you get good service enjoy this is just my personal experience. More
