I think it is time to find a new Ford Service Dealer. Customer Service was terrible right from when I arrived with no one wanting to help. I let the rep know when I booked the appointment that I needed an oil change and I needed them to look at my gas cap and sunroof as it is under warranty which she said would be no problem. When I told the rep there that I was told, the oil change guys don't do that as they will just change the oil and rotate tires. No one could look at that and would require a serrate appointment. I let the rep know I could show her quickly what I was talking about and she said no, they would need the car all day for another appointment to look at that. The previous staff there was great, but let me know they were leaving and it has gone down hill with customer service since. Will look for another Ford Dealership who cares about their customers. I've used this dealership for a/c repair in the past while visiting from New York. It was a pleasant experience. Now that I've moved to Florida I decided to use them for my periodic maintenance. I've had bad experiences with Ford dealers in NY, being charged for work that was never done, so I'm naturally suspicious. After leaving the shop I stopped to check all the fluids, checked for clean oil, made sure the tires were actually rotated, and even climbed under the vehicle to check for a new oil filter. All the services I requested were done and the vehicle was clean and ready to go! One hiccup... when they brought my vehicle back to the shop they parked it in the wrong spot by mistake and the techs kept bypassing it not realizing I was waiting. When my service writer realized what happened he got it done right away. He felt bad I waited so long and didn't charge me. That's how you treat customers to make sure they come back! I will be back! Derek took care of our service needs on our Ford Explorer Platinum. He’s friendly and very helpful. I came in for an oil change, fully expecting it cost me full price after my service warranty expired. Derek took the time to research if that was case. He didn’t want me to pay for an oil change that should be covered. It was great to find out the oil change was still covered! Because my manufacturer warranty had expired, he also took the time to explain the options for extended warranty coverage and connected me to the finance manager to further explore this option. I really appreciate Derek’s time and patience. Normally you feel pressured into expensive repairs (some not needed) and ignored at the dealership service shop, but I always feel valued and appreciated here. More
