I’m glad we came here because we found the truck we have been looking for. However, the overall experience with our salesman was awful. From the very beginning, he lied about many things. I am very experienced with vehicles and I knew there was an issue with the truck during the test drive. When I addressed this, the salesman told me there aren’t any issues. Later, he came back to tell me that the problem I shared with him was true from the notes on the vehicle. Next, as we were trying to get our payment down to our goal monthly payment, he told me and my wife that there was nothing that could be done to make our goal happen. We had to tell HIM what to do in order for us to get the number we wanted. In the end, we bypassed him and spoke only with the finance guy since our salesman clearly is not knowledgeable about the vehicle or the finance process. The next day the salesman called me to say the truck would be ready in one hour. We got there over an hour later. The truck was not ready. In fact we had to wait at the dealership for over an hour while our salesman kept saying “any minute”. We even offered to come back later to get it. He told us no. Finally, when the truck was pulled around for us, we took it home only to find out the tag was not on the truck and the truck was not filled up with a full tank of gas as promised. Between the lack of knowledge and many lies told from our salesman, we were pretty upset with the experience. While the dealership is good, the salesman was AWFUL! He even had the audacity to ask me after all this we had a 5 star experience. No. We didn’t. Will we recommend the dealership? Yes, but we will also warn people about the salesman here. More

We have done business with AutoNation Sanford on 3 different occassions and each time it's been one of the better car buying experiences. We bought an 2017 F-150 new, sold a van we no longer drove an different occassions and each time it's been one of the better car buying experiences. We bought an 2017 F-150 new, sold a van we no longer drove and most recently bought a used Jeep Cherokee. We wound up returning the Jeep and they definitely honor their 5-day reteurn policy with no questions asked. In our case there were some issues that couldn't get resolved with the vehicle but never did we feel pressured to keep it. We'd certainly go back in the future as while price is important so is standing behind and honoring promises to the customer. If you're in the market for a new or used car please do seriously consider AutoNation Sanford you won't be disappointed. More
