A 2 star review is actually an improvement from past reviews I've given to AutoNation Ford North Canton. I will state again, I have no issues with the actual service performed. My issues come from the reviews I've given to AutoNation Ford North Canton. I will state again, I have no issues with the actual service performed. My issues come from the advisors. On this visit, I can honestly say that communication with me regarding my vehicle was NOT a problem. My problem is that even though I scheduled my appointment several weeks ahead of time, detailing what needed to be done, and informing them that this service had previously been quoted by them, they didn't have the part to complete the repair. This was not a supply chain issue. He claimed that he could have the part tomorrow. Why should I go through the bother of writing out what service needed to be done when obviously the advisors never bother to read them until the day of the appointment? In addition to this, the quote to have the repair completed was over $150 more to have completed this visit than when it was originally quoted. No thanks! I will have someone else complete this repair. In addition to the lack of planning on their part, why do I need to ask for my vehicle to be washed? Wouldn't you think that a dealership that strives to be the very best in customer service would have already completed this task for me? This was an early bird drop off service. Even if they were backed up all day with car washes, I didn't pick my vehicle up until after 4:30 PM. It is February in Ohio. Cars need washed. I had to wait while my truck was washed, even though they had had it there all day. I hate to slam any company, but I have worked with many dealerships in the past and still work with others for my two other vehicles. AutoNation Ford is by far the worst to work with. Sadly, I recently moved even closer to this dealership and have very few other options for FORD service. So I guess I am stuck with their crummy service advisors. More
The service dept needs more communication between customers and themselves. Had to talk to three different people when dropping my car for recall work to be taken care of. I've had my Ranger there twice for service and am pleased with every thing . The place is clean and modern, the people seem friendly, and they gave me a ride to and from my next destination. with every thing .
