I stopped into the dealership only to look at the Ford Fiesta, since my brother had been bragging about this car for the past year. My experience didn't start out poorly. Ozell, our salesman took us for a test drive and explained some of the features that particular model had to offer. The problem was when we got back to the dealership. I had just come from their sister store and they had my credit run and gave me a copy of the report incase I needed it at other dealerships. Treadwell Ford told me they had to run my credit again in order to let me know what price they could offer. Reluctantly, I allowed them to do so. 30 minutes later they start asking me to sign paperwork to verify that I am accepting their price! Never once did I say I was ready to buy from them, let alone for what price they were offering. I had only stopped in to look on my way to lunch. After I communicated that to Ozell the bottom fell out. Everyone at Treadwell Ford, especially the sales manager, began talking to me as if I wasted their time and couldn't have been more rude about it. What bothers me so much is I was upfront about my intentions. Its not as if I was trying to play a game with them. I left knowing that I will never step foot on that lot again and am more than happy to share my experience with anyone that will listen. Worst experience I have EVER had!!! Do yourselves a favor, if it's a Ford you're looking for, buy from someone else. More
One error after another resulted in me having to foot a total of $1,000 of bills (hotels, rental cars etc). When I finally get the car back it was so dirty I couldn't even see out of the windows and had to total of $1,000 of bills (hotels, rental cars etc). As much as the people are very friendly I certainly can't recommend this dealer. More
I bought a 2006 Ford F-250 King Ranch....250 miles later coolant was dry and check engine light came on. Called Manager Jason at Treadwell Ford. Jason recommeded that I drive the truck 120 miles back to the dealership. I requested a tow truck and they refused. I had the truck checked out locally and it had blown head gaskets, bad EGR cooler and bad oil cooler. I called Treadwell Ford back about 10-12 times with no results. They gave me the run-around for a month while my truck sat in the driveway (useless). Finally, they offered to fix my truck at a "discounted" rate but never would tell me how much it would be and still refused to tow my truck back to their shop. Had the truck fixed locally for $3,500. Needless to say, I will never go back. I recommend never dealing with Treadwell Ford! More
