Your sales rep was very personable. He was very informative giving me what part was bad, it had to be ordered, and car repaired timely. He called to keep me informed of the progress. We booked our appointment a month in advance and were waiting at their door for them to open at 7am. I left the truck with them for a braking system problem. Around 3pm, I called to see if they were going to have it ready for me to pick up before they closed for the day. They informed me they were not able to get to it yet and expected to see it the next day. I called again the following day and was told it would be at least another week before they could get to even evaluate it. I asked why I had needed to schedule an appointment a month out only for them to leave it on their lot for at least a week and a half. They told me it was just to get in line. I needed the truck and asked them if I could keep it in line and have them call me the day before they were ready to look at it. The answer was no. If I wanted them to look at it, I would need to leave it there. More

I purchased a used vehicle from AutoNation Ford on the Beltline here in Mobile, AL and I feel I was lied to and brushed off. The salesman, the manager nor the corporate office had any integrity in my opinion. They advertise they have a 5 days no questions asked return policy, it’s a manipulating lie. When I tried to reach out to the salesman and the manager about issues I was having with a vehicle I purchased, the salesman referred me to an outside mechanic, but the mechanic said the salesman only told him to check one thing. When I tried to reach back out to the salesman, Ronald Childs, by text and email, I was ignored. His manager Thomas Bethea reached out to me by email, but provided no solutions. When I told him that the salesman retained possession of the vehicle for 4 out of 5 days and what safety issues the vehicle was having, he told me there was nothing they could do. I reached out to the corporate office by phone and email. No one bothered to email me back or return my call. I learned my lesson. I’ll stick with Mullinax Ford. They are a much more honorable company and the general manager will make every effort to make you satisfied with your purchase. The difference is Mullinax actually cares, AutoNation doesn’t. My salesman at Mullinax will take action to correct any problems I have within reason, especially if something may be hindering the vehicle from operating properly. This has taught me that change is not always good. I’m sticking to what I know from now on. More
