Bought a brand new Bronco and it had a powertrain malfunction within the first 24 hours (around 50 miles). I realize that is a Ford issue and not a dealership issue but their response to it, as I wil malfunction within the first 24 hours (around 50 miles). I realize that is a Ford issue and not a dealership issue but their response to it, as I will detail below, has been awful. When the malfunction happened, I was merging onto the interstate and the vehicle had a severe loss of power. I immediately brought it into the dealership and was given an appointment at 7:15 the next day (07/26). I called to follow up around noon that day and never got a response to my voicemail so today (07/28), I borrow a car to go there and check on it. My serviceperson, Nicole, says she just got the voicemail (almost a day later) and that they haven't even looked at it yet. To top it all off, they refuse to give me a loaner vehicle and instead said they may reimburse me "up to $35 per day for a maximum of 10 days" for a rental due to the extended warranty that I paid through the nose for. There is nowhere that you can rent a vehicle for anywhere near that price. I would advise steering clear of doing any business with them specifically and, seeing as how this is my second Bronco and neither one has lasted over a week without major issues, steering clear of Ford vehicles in general. You sold me a wrecked vehicle as new. When I talked to the dealership manager about this he accused me of wrecking the vehicle. When I talked to the dealership manager about this he accused me of wrecking the vehicle. More
Repair took way too long, no contact up front on cost to repair. Cost seemed absurd.. $165 to replace $2.65 rubber bumper on brake pedal. Chris was friendly and got us checked in quickly. repair. After never receiving a call back from the general manager, I did receive a call back from the service rep who said I should probably just come pickup my car because they're never going to be able mee manager, I did receive a call back from the service rep who said I should probably just come pickup my car because they're never going to be able meet a satisfactory timeline. Thanks for holding my car for two weeks in the interim. I called and left a voicemail but no one has called back. Culture starts at the top. My check engine light came on so I brought it in for service. I was told someone would be able to at least get me diagnostics within 3-5 days. I called at day 6 and was told sorry sometime later that week. Followed up at day 10 and was told at best it would be day 13. Apparently there's only one guy that could look at my car and he spontaneously went on vacation and no one knew about it until the day after I brought my car in, which also begs the question why wasn't I told that on the day 6 call so I could at least pickup my car in the interim?
