I had a recent service issue and had to have a battery replacement. Two weeks later, the vehicle's battery died and had to be jump started. Two days prior the auto start/stop feature stopped working. Some don't like this feature, but it is designed to work.......so..........when it doesn't it is an indicator that another issue is brewing. I was able to keep it charged long enough for the vehicle to be picked up (valet service is great) and make it to the dealership. Long story short, the new battery tested bad (it happens). Once a new battery was installed, the start'stop function still did not work. All the computer modules were reset, the auto start/stop function began to work again, and it drives like a charm. The communication was GREAT keeping me informed through the process all the way to my receiving the vehicle back. More
The communication could have been a lot better, but it got better towards the end of the repair. I wasn't so sure about their level of service at first, but John was great in the service department, and Heather kept me informed (moreso towards the end of the repair). I will get my vehicle back tomorrow, and assuming it is running 'tip top', I can see myself trusting AutoNation in the future with my vehicle. I trust that the communication issue was a fluke and that normally they do a better job at keeping a customer informed. Update - My vehicle was returned today with all repairs made. The pickup and drop off service was convenient due to my being at work. All in all --- the quality of work was great. The communication on the tail end was better. The issue was not knowing (on the front end) how long I'd expect to be without a vehicle. Had that been communicated on the front end, I would have probably been less spastic through the whole process. If I do business with them again, GOOD COMMUNICATION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS would win my loyalty, a 5 star recommendation and definitely repeat business!. More
I visited your Service Center because you open at 7AM. I like to get my car serviced as soon as possible so that I will still some time to run errands later. Well I had the MOBILE vehicle to come service my vehicle and it was an awesome experience . The guy was very professional and the MOBLE vehicle was designed and equipped like a shop, totally wasn’t expectin and it was an awesome experience .
