The buying process was so smooth and very simple. I purchased a vehicle from another AutoNation in New York. The transportation plan was problematic to say the least. Communication about my vehicle w I purchased a vehicle from another AutoNation in New York. The transportation plan was problematic to say the least. Communication about my vehicle was horrible. I had to call consistently to get updated. I received the care after 1.5 weeks and now I have to take it back to have the drive out tags replaced because they sent me home with the wrong one. This experience has not been an enjoyable one at all. I absolutely would NOT recommend this location to anyone More

The communication could have been a lot better, but it got better towards the end of the repair. The factory recall has been completed, and another issue is being fixed (caused by the prior owner of the got better towards the end of the repair. I wasn't so sure about their level of service at first, but John was great in the service department, and Heather kept me informed (moreso towards the end of the repair). I will get my vehicle back tomorrow, and assuming it is running 'tip top', I can see myself trusting AutoNation in the future with my vehicle. I trust that the communication issue was a fluke and that normally they do a better job at keeping a customer informed. Update - My vehicle was returned today with all repairs made. The pickup and drop off service was convenient due to my being at work. All in all --- the quality of work was great. The communication on the tail end was better. The issue was not knowing (on the front end) how long I'd expect to be without a vehicle. Had that been communicated on the front end, I would have probably been less spastic through the whole process. If I do business with them again, GOOD COMMUNICATION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS would win my loyalty, a 5 star recommendation and definitely repeat business!. More
