Earl service advisor was pleasant. I set up an appointment for a Saturday and was called the day before letting me know that they did not have the parts for the recalls. Rescheduled fo I set up an appointment for a Saturday and was called the day before letting me know that they did not have the parts for the recalls. Rescheduled for Wednesday. Asked multiple times about a loaner car as was promised with the FORD protect extended warranty. No availability. Also no offer to give me a ride or shuttle. All on my own. Unhelpful with 3rd party rental car. Ashley was rather unpleasant and not compassionate about helping out. I guess that is more of a dealership issue. There was no availability at local rental car agency. The Ford extended warranty and corporate staff were also not helpful And gave me the run around despite promising otherwise. Will certainly avoid Ford products and especially extended warranty in the future. Clearly all parties involved don't seem to care. Sad, very mediocre process. Don't expect a seamless experience! Horrible service! Had my vehicle towed in on 7/15 for check engine light. Advisor found an open TSB (22-2322) for the issue. Had to drop engine and replace. It took Had my vehicle towed in on 7/15 for check engine light. Advisor found an open TSB (22-2322) for the issue. Had to drop engine and replace. It took them a month and three days (even with our Premium care package) to fix. Within hours of receiving the SUV, we noticed green drips on garage floor. Trust is completely gone with Ford and we can't afford to be without a car for another month, so we took it to another service station. They found a "driver side outer CV axle boot broken with grease inside wheel and knuckle, front brakes had grease on inner pad, and a/c refrigerant level low". Paid for these repairs out of own pocket. Had car back in two days. Sure, they fixed the issue but made several more while they had it. Would not recommend unless you have lots of time on your hands to follow up and be without your car! More
TLDR: This dealership is unorganized and filled with empty promises and pointed fingers. Long story: I started my visit with AutoNation Ford off Mt. Moriah with a vehicle that I found online. I had b empty promises and pointed fingers. Long story: I started my visit with AutoNation Ford off Mt. Moriah with a vehicle that I found online. I had been looking for weeks for a specific pickup and what they had just acquired checked all the boxes for me. It was so recently acquired that it still needed to go through their servicing. 3 hours is how long I was there on day 1 and I made an offer contingent on a successful test drive after their service was completed. Was told it would be 3 days before service was completed. On day 3 I was called and told it wasn’t ready and that it would be the next day. I said due to my schedule I would be there later in the week to test drive and pick up the truck. My 2nd trip (a 30 min drive) was met with a no show of the sales person and also after another 35 min wait I was told that the truck was not there. It had been taken to another shop for an unknown repair. The 2nd sales person assured me that the truck would be there in roughly 2 hours if I wanted to wait. I declined to wait, and the sales person said that he would call me by 5pm that night with an update. I left disappointed. I received no call back. I called asking for a manager (in the hopes I would get some reliable information) where I got another individual in middle manger. She assures me should find out what’s going on and apologized for the confusion, and again I was promised a return call after 3 more days. At this point I am getting frustrated with the lack of communication and follow through. I emailed the general manager with a request for him to call me. After speaking with him he again apologized, saying that he was sorry and “You should’ve been treated as family”. After another 2 days I arrive for my 3rd visit. Was there an addition 3.5 hours. I’m now approaching over 7.5 hours of my time at the dealership and 2.5 hours of drive time. They lowballed an offer for my trade in by $3,000. After I threatened to walk, they brought it up to the low end of what I believed my trade in to be worth. An agreement was made and we proceeded with the sale. Then the pitch for an extended warranty. My patience had been seriously tested but I remained polite and respectfully declined. Even after all that I was still pressured to buy one at a discounted price. Not very valuable if you need to “reduce the price” to get someone to buy in. After getting home I notice that the “detailing” that was done was also sub par as I had several areas inside I cleaned and the truck bed was ignored entirely; even leaving trash in the bed. All hidden by the tono cover, but simply opening the tailgate would reveal the mess. Even after all of that, the $1k I put down was never refunded as promised requiring yet another call for follow through. Do yourself a favor, buy somewhere else. More
