AutoNation Ford Margate - Service Center

After taking our car into dealership for an oil change when we went to pick it up the bill was 75 dollars when I asked why the bill was that much I was told it is because they had to use full synthetic oi when we went to pick it up the bill was 75 dollars when I asked why the bill was that much I was told it is because they had to use full synthetic oil in it. I am not opposed to using full synthetic I am upset with the fact that when we purchased the vehicle brand new we also bought a maintenance plan and I am just wondering why all of those oil changes synthetic blend oil was good enough only when I am now paying they switched me over to this and didn't bother to even tell me instead let it be a surprise to me when picking the car up. This is not how maintenance should be done. More

Jim is always very personable, he listens to wait it is I am worried about , confirms he has a plan and makes sure I get the right technician to do the best job. If it wasn't for him it would go to any other dealership, but Autonation Margate is the best. More

Brought truck in for front end alignment, service adviser was courteous and called me when truck was complete. I brought my ford fusion in early in the for a recall about door latches. They were supposed to be done in a few hours and call me. No one called. I had to call the service department in the afternoon about door latches. They were supposed to be done in a few hours and call me. No one called. I had to call the service department in the afternoon to find out that my service rep. left early and that my car was being kept overnight. I find this unacceptable as I had to cancel my planned activates for the evening since I had no car. I will never do business with them again. More
