Now, I have brought it here for service twice and twice they failed me! Frist, I replaced my tires and Brakes. The service tech damaged my calipers during the service which their service manager confirmed it was their mistake. The service manager did me good and replaced both of my calipers at no costs, but I was out of a truck for 4 days waiting on the parts...I figured, OK they made a mistake and corrected the mistake so decided to take it back to replace my battery and Boy was I surprised when they told me that my battery was $450!!! I was in shock!! if this would had been my wife they would had definite taken advantage...This is what I did, I called Sawgrass FORD and asked them for the cost to replace my battery with their best battery -- guess what $240! I told the tech either to match it or give me back the keys...2 minutes later they were matching the price and giving me their best battery! WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK! DO TRUST THESE GUYS! NO F**KING WAY!! I WILL NEVER EVER BRING MY TRUCK HERE AGAIN! AutoNation you guys got to QC your service techs, stop stealing money from people and get your xxxx in order! More
Always have been fair and honest. I’m sure I could get repairs cheaper elsewhere- but I like their knowledge and experience with my make and model. I’m sure I could get repairs cheaper elsewhere- but I like their knowledge and experience with my make and model. More

I live 52. 7miles from AutoNation Ford Margate (ANFM). So why was I at a Ford dealership looking at a pre-owned Genesis G90? Because ANFM had one. ANFM i 7miles from AutoNation Ford Margate (ANFM). So why was I at a Ford dealership looking at a pre-owned Genesis G90? Because ANFM had one. ANFM is a typical, huge modern car dealership with what is probably an eye watering financed "Floor Plan" (Car inventory financed by bank loan). I received a warm welcome, and test drove the Genesis. It was what I expected, the price was about right and they offered me a fair trade for my Lexus, so I decided to buy the Genesis. So far, so good. At the outset, I told salesman, Olray, that I would pay in cash (personal check) an out the door total price including only the net price that he had quoted me plus the Florida state sales tax, and the cost of a temporary registration form. (I planned to register the car in person at the local county office.) Salesman Olray replied, "Don't worry. ANFM will take care of everything.", and handed me over to Finance guy, Arturo, who tried to sell me some extra warranty coverage. I told Arturo that if I wanted extra warranty coverage, I would buy it from Genesis. He gave up, and eventually produced the Purchase Agreement (P/A), In reviewing the P/A I noticed that a "Service Fee" of $999 and an "Electronic Filing Fee" of $199 had been added to the price. I questioned these. Arturo had no explanations, and soon a "Manager" showed up to tell me that ANFM added a flat $999 "Service/Reconditioning Charge" to every car they sold. (Personally, I think the $999 "Service/Reconditioning Fee" is to offset the recent interest increases on ANFM's "Floor Plan" bank loan.). Arturo further claimed that they had never heard of a "Temporary Registration", and insisted that the $199 electronic fee was mandatory. It is not. Although I really liked the Genesis, at this point I, was disgusted, decided to pass on the whole deal, and started for the exit. Suddenly, everything changed, and although the Service/Reconditioning and Electronic Filing fees remained on the contract, an offsetting increase in my trade in allowance appeared. So, I signed the agreement, put a $5,000 deposit on my Visa card, promised to return the following with a check for the balance (Which I did.), and drove the car home. That wasn't the end though. Since the car was registered in my Trust, ANFM insisted that I produce the Trust document showing where I, a Trustee, was authorized to conduct business on behalf of my own Trust. Additionally, while ANFM accepted my Fidelity Investments Visa card, they refused to accept my personal Fidelity check. Apparently the Fidelity bank was not on some ANFM approved checking account list. I had Fidelity wire the funds directly into ANFM's bank in New York City. So, if you are thinking about buying a car from ANFM, if appropriate be sure to: 1. Realize that ANFM is basically a high volume operation that has to sell cars to service the debt on their huge over hanging "Floor Plan" bank loan that is now worse due to recent interest rate increases. Be prepared to walk away if you don't like the deal. ANFM will quickly come around. 2. Get the Dealer Service/Renovation Fee, the Electronic Fee, etc. clearly understood at the outset. When ANFM people tell you "Don't worry, ANFM will take care it." Start worrying, or it will cost you at least $1,200. 3. If appropriate, take your Trust document with you. 4. If writing a personal check, make sure in advance that your bank is on ANFM's approved checking account list. Good luck! . More
