I ordered a part with Ali in the parts department and I asked him questions about the part he went off on me on the phone because he claim today he didn’t have time for my questions and had to leave he hu asked him questions about the part he went off on me on the phone because he claim today he didn’t have time for my questions and had to leave he hung up on me so I went to autonation ford in margate and I asked for a manager but the manager was in a meeting . So I further proceeded to ask fellow employees in the front about Ali behavior and decided I will be following up with a lawsuit against autonation he abuses the policy Takes long lunches and doesn’t come back on time . He prevents other employees from going to their appointments because he springs things at the last minute and he has a short fuze and apparently causes problems for service and techs too they says they have to go to other people on parts to handle things because he doesn’t do his job correctly and in his defense Ali claims he’s only working there to get retirement this is somebody who is abusing autonation policy just because he’s hired there capitalizing off of salary pay when it’s people who works there who really need to take appointments or leave due to real family issues and complications .. like the employee at the front said somebody mom was in the hospital and Ali complained about it even though they say he’s off Saturdays . Autonation has to do something or else this will become a corprate issue lawsuit I will be filing against him if he’s not held accountable More

If I could chose to never come to this location ever again I would but I am forced to come here as this is the only close location with a body shop. Firstly, if you have an appointment, doesn’t matter. They don’t care. Also the service advisor will probably not be there for you anyway. Also watch out for how much they charge you, does $300 for oil change sound right? No. Now here for recall and they are making me wait all day here instead of offering me a loaner to get me home to my own personal space. No I am stuck here waiting for an assessment when the body shop people aren’t even here and will probably be late. Issue is apparent they know they need to fix my car just give me loaner so I can be happy and leave and continue with my day. No, service advisors do not care. I am honestly looking at selling my ford and never looking at an Auto nation ever again. Came because a friend worked here, not anymore and I see why. Place sucks. More

Before I go into my back story, I will say that my experience at AutoNation Ford Margate was smooth and stress free. Now for the story. While shopping for a low mileage Mustang, I discovered one at experience at AutoNation Ford Margate was smooth and stress free. Now for the story. While shopping for a low mileage Mustang, I discovered one at a dealer on the west coast of Florida roughly 4 hours away. Well, after communicating with the dealer numerous times and even filling out a credit app, I packed up the car and drove over there with my wife and kids. They knew that we were coming and so they had made an appt the next morning. We got there late Sunday night had made an appt to see the car the next morning and hopefully drive it home. Upon arriving at the dealership, they had not so much as hosed the car off (even knowing I was coming from 4hrs away) and also, they had neglected to tell me that the safety inspection had not been done… and that there was no way I would be able to leave the dealership with the car that day. So, why couldn’t they tell me that before I drove 4hrs and spent money on a hotel for nothing. Beyond frustrated, I drove home completely confused as to why they would do something like that. Even my 14yr old and 12yr old daughters were also asking why they didn’t tell me ahead of time. Fast forward to a call that I made to AutoNation Ford Margate (which is my local dealer). I spoke with Doug, my salesman who was also very perplexed as to why a dealer would do what they did. Anyway, he was very patient and handled my numerous texts with a very calm demeanor…which was refreshing after my last experience at the “other” dealer. While working with him alongside his Sales Manager Matthew (who was also extremely helpful)), they were able to arrange that the car be transported down here. Between the two of them, they turned an extremely frustrating experience into a stress free, no problems whatsoever transaction. In conclusion, I ended up with the low mileage Mustang that I wanted and left AutoNation Ford Margate with a smile on my face. So thank you Doug and Matthew for all of your help and getting me the car I wanted. Referrals are a great thing in the car business, and you can bet that I will refer these two for anyone I know looking for a car. More
