Service staff, Kevin in particular, were great. Speedy service unlike Sawgrass Ford. Loved the Lyft complimentary service. Didn’t like the $23 misc service charge or the fact that it wasn’t verbally disclosed. Saw it on bill after paying for the diagnostics fee, which was verbally disclosed. When I questioned the misc service fee, the response was it’s a fee for shop materials. My vehicle received a software update, what shop material? Also, had some recalls taken care of. Those were initiated and done by the service dept without me asking for it, which I thought was very thorough, professional and kind of the Margate Ford. Only hitch with that was one of the recalls called for changing a bolt in the rear axle. After making arrangements to bring my truck back a 2nd time for the 2nd recall and taking the day off from work, I learned that the job was not done per the service receipt. When I contact Kevin about it, he said it wasn’t done because the bolt wasn’t broken. Why then is there a recall for that issue? Additionally, nobody mentioned it verbally that it wasn’t done and it was until I reviewed the service receipt that I noticed it. Should had been verbally mentioned when I was there, at the service counter, picking the vehicle up. All and all, I will definitely be using Margate Ford from now on. Much better service than Sawgrass Ford in my opinion. Thank you for basically getting me in and without within just a couple of days! More

The worst service you can have. I took my car for a recall in the ac and when I came back the ac wasn’t working, I came back I immediately they said was leaking the ac evaporator. ONLY go to the dealer if there are absolutely no other options!!! Stay away !!!! I was billed just under $1,000.00 to replace the spark plugs and boot ignition wires for my 2014 Ford E-150. OUTRAGEOUS... One thousand dollars for spark plugs.... it's legalized robbery. The 8 spark plugs could be purchased retail for $11.00. Totally outrageous. More
