Let me start off by saying this - I've never "enjoyed" the car buying experience. Everything is a negotiation, everything. Let's face it - car dealerships have a reputation that other's have created. Some deserve the bad rap, some don't. I can say this from the bottom of my heart - I bought I Ford Fusion from Go Courtesy Ford in Littleton, CO. While I have a great job (one that I'm thankful for) - my credit has taken a huge hit over the pat 2.5 years as I needed to take care of my father as he suffers from Alzheimer's. 2.5 years ago I had a credit rating of 830 plus - today, well I don't know, nor do I care BUT reality hits when it comes to buying anything on credit, especially a car. I really started to appreciate Ford during the government bail-out of the Big 3. What caught my attention initially was that they that Ford refused the government loans to be "bailed out". That's the hard working American attitude that I like and the same no excuse attitude my dad raised me with. At the same time - knowing that putting my dad's health and finances first, hurt me and my chances of getting a "fair shake" when it came to buying a new OR used car. I would probably have to pay despicable rates but at the same time - I made that choice on my credit and accepted that I would have to deal with the situation I created. Go Courtesy Ford, including Kevin Laurie and the finance team- worked with me, listened to my situation and went to bat for me like I never could have expected nor asked for. I left with a brand new Fusion that I could afford at an interest rate I didn't deserve on paper. I emphasize on paper because that's critical. Most places I spoke to - paper was gospel regardless of the "story" behind it. Well - I never begged, pleaded for them to hear my story because they heard it when I first walked in because I wanted to be straight up with them and not waste their time if they couldn't help. I told it once - they took it to heart and fought for me without me asking them to. Go Courtesy Ford has earned my business for a lifetime. Not simply because they sold me a car - but because they stepped up and believed in me and fought for that without me asking them to or expecting them to. I haven't purchased a car in almost 10 years (been leasing for a while). My experience at GO Courtesy was great. Paul was great to work with, very knowledgeable, and helpful. GO Courtesy, and Paul specifically, were recommended to me and I will do the same if I know anyone looking for a Ford. Good experience all around. More
I cannot recommend Antonio more highly. He was friendly and professional and worked very hard to make the deal work but at no time did I never felt pushed or pressured to buy. When all of my research was complete & I walked into the dealership - learned that Michael was on medical leave; Gil stepped up & was quite efficient in woeking through the paper work with minimum down time for me. An added positive; the vehicle was delivered to my door. Can't ask for any more than that! More
I was having trouble with the SYNC System in my new Ford Escape Limited and drove to the dealership. Gil Montellano was kind enough to spend a hour with me to not only set up a second phone but explained fe Escape Limited and drove to the dealership. We purchased a new 2010 F150 with special a special wheel package that the dealership had purchased and installed prior to us ever looking at the vehicle. When we found that these wheels were causing problem package that the dealership had purchased and installed prior to us ever looking at the vehicle. When we found that these wheels were causing problems with the truck and went back to this dealership for help. They first said they would fix the problem, but when they could not fix it they changed their tune and began to say it was not their problem because the wheels and tires were not stock. They first offered us some options but the next day they took those options back. In my opinion this is the most dishonest Ford dealership I ever purchased a vehicle from and I have bought many Ford vehicles because I was a Ford employee for many years and their product is the best! So in conclusion if you want to buy a Ford vehicle I suggest you DO NOT go to GO COURTESY FORD. More
Gil made our transaction go smoothly from beginning to end. He showed us exactly what we wanted to see, really listened to our needs, and never tried to push us in a direction we didn't want to go. He rode with us for a nice test drive, and we very knowledgeable and informative concerning the features of the new 2011 Ford Fiesta. The negotiation aspect of the deal was very easy and direct and fast. When we went to pick up our new car Gil spent more time with us teaching us features and capabilities, and made sure we knew to call back if we have questions or need help with all the SYNC techology. He was also very pleasant and friendly to our children. We highly recommend Gil Montellano and GO Courtesy Ford! More
