Beware: Deceptive Practices and Lack of Accountability at AutoNation Katy I'm sharing my recent encounter with AutoNation Katy to offer a heads-up to others. I drove hours from another city and bought a 2 AutoNation Katy I'm sharing my recent encounter with AutoNation Katy to offer a heads-up to others. I drove hours from another city and bought a 2017 Tesla Model S from them, believing it was a good car and being reassured that all of their cars are thoroughly inspected and checked. But within two weeks, the car started making strange grinding noises whenever I turned on the AC. When I tried to contact my salesman, Melvin Hunter Jr, I hit a wall. It took many calls to finally get through, and even then, he just promised to look into it. I persisted with calls and texts, talked to different people at the dealership, but got nowhere. They said the sales manager, Cody, would handle it, but he never followed up. Then, a few nights later, the car left me stranded, despite being fully charged. I ended up shelling out nearly $3,000 for repairs within weeks of buying the car, and my plates were still missing because they hadn't processed the purchase. What's more, they push customers to leave positive reviews before they've even had time to check if everything's okay with their purchase. They literally make their salespeople pressure you into writing a positive review before you even leave with the car. Here's my advice: Be wary of AutoNation Katy. Their reviews may seem good, but my experience tells a different story. They seem indifferent to customer satisfaction. It's best to steer clear and find a dealership that values their customers More
Everyone was kind and courteous. A little frustrating that they do not negotiate, even for 100 dollars, but on the plus side, they did fill the tank and had the car detailed before A little frustrating that they do not negotiate, even for 100 dollars, but on the plus side, they did fill the tank and had the car detailed before we drove it off the lot. Gareth was our salesman and was super! More
