Recently took my 2023 Ford Ranger in for Service and to check a couple of issues I was having. Making an appointment online was super easy. Talked to the Susan the Service Advisor and she took care of getting me checked in and she made notes of things for them to check. She told me I may not be able to get my truck back until Friday. Kind of bummed, but understood it would take some time to look at my issues. One of the issues I was having was my Driver's Side rear floorboard would get wet when it rained. Was informed on Friday that the part would arrive Saturday and that I could potentially pickup my Truck on Monday. I asked Susan which part and all she could say was a seal but did not know which one. I feel that the part that was being ordered should have been available in the computer system or central location the Service Advisor could look at. I called the dealership on Monday afternoon and was told by Susan that the Service Technician had called out sick and couldn't tell me if the seal had arrived and been replaced. Again, this is information that should be available to the Service Advisor. Another issue I had reported was a clunk sound when stopping or taking off. The Service Advisor said that the Service Technician could not get the sound to appear and asked me to come in and see if I could get the sound to show up with a technician. I arrived on Tuesday morning to do so and could not get the sound to duplicate. No issue there, but I asked if they knew if the seal had been replaced yet and she could not answer the question. When I took the test drive, it was with a Service Technician manager, and he told me that he believed the seal had been replaced but would confirm. He offered to reset the transmission modules to see if that cleared up the clunk sound that I occasionally heard. Received a call later that day that the truck was ready to be picked up. Picking up the truck was easy. Another Issue I reported was that the factory ordered and installed tonneau cover was leaking. The Service Advisor told me that it even though it was ordered and installed from the factory that it was not covered under warranty per the parts manager. I don't agree with this. The Oil change and service done to my truck seem to have been done correctly and on the Wednesday I dropped it off. So far the Seal that they replaced on the driver's side rear door seems to have stopped the water leaking into the truck. Susan was very professional and friendly. My biggest recommendation is that Service Advisors have access to more information prior to contacting customer to be able to better answer questions. More

The service was prompt and included a good wash job as a courtesy. I appreciate that! I have decided to continue using your dealership for maintenance and repair services on my 2018 Taurus. With the complexity of today's vehicles, a dealership is almost a must for a vehicle's repair and service, if the job is to be correctly accomplished. From my pleasant experience on 12/12, I feel that AutoNation Ford Jacksonville will be there for my needs. The friendliness and cooperation that I received from all employees is much appreciated.
