New platinum plus has 12,000 miles and had power train warning light come on. Called AutoNation Frisco and was told to bring it in and they would have a loaner for me. Josh would be my service tech. To warning light come on. Called AutoNation Frisco and was told to bring it in and they would have a loaner for me. Josh would be my service tech. Took it there and Josh wasn’t even working that day and was told they would place me on the list for a loaner and questioned me on who told me that a loaner would be here. Was like I was being accused of lying to them and was only doing what the person who answered the phone in their service told me to do. Had to go through a lady named Naomi and she did get me a loaner. Was told it would be five days before they could service and also had to sign a document that said I would be responsible for the 200 diagnostic charge if it wasn’t under warranty. I was ok with that. After five days I called and was told by Obea that sorry but they didn’t have anyone that could do the diagnostics on the truck! The following Saturday I received a text from the technician showing me a picture of my truck with my hood opened and said all of my fluids have been topped off. Not a word about what was wrong with the truck not a word about when the truck would be finished only a picture of the windshield washer container being filled. Received a text on Monday that the truck was ready, but they could not find anything wrong. There was a recall on the truck that they found out when I dropped it off, but they had no knowledge about the recall being repaired and again there was nothing that they found with the power train that was wrong. Then to top it off when I drop the loaner truck back off, I left my garage door opener on the visor and called to see if I could come by and pick it up and they said obviously it was my fault. They’re not responsible for anything left in the truck, I was welcome to come back and look in the truck, but there was no garage door opener there that I obviously misplaced it and did something with it. Now I feel as though I’m being lied to and there’s a thief in the operation not a good experience. More
Bought truck and immediately after signing paperwork the truck check engine light came on. The store had no plan of action and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Drove truck home with limited acceleration truck check engine light came on. The store had no plan of action and couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Drove truck home with limited acceleration and unsure of what the problem was. Seemed like they just wanted to get me out if there hair. More
Autonation Ford in Frisco wanted me to sign an Arbitration agreement before they would sell me a vehicle. Why? When I asked about this, they said it is to protect me. That was a lie. The bold Arbitration agreement before they would sell me a vehicle. Why? When I asked about this, they said it is to protect me. That was a lie. The bold print on the document starts with saying "BY ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT, YOU GIVE UP YOUR RIGHT TO HAVE ..." I went to another Ford dealer and they said they don't do this and never heard of it. Why would a dealer do this? More
