My experience with Auto Nation Ford in Bradenton FL was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Ford dealership. When I first called them, I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. I dropped off the Tru the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Ford dealership. When I first called them, I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. I dropped off the Truck the 11th of November however my appointment was for the 14th of November. When I arrived, I met with the service adviser Moises. He took my information and proceeded to tell me that it would be another 5 days before they could look at my truck to which I responded that I had an appointment which took 3 weeks to get. Moises stated that it did not matter. I left disappointed to say the least. A few days later (about 3 days), I called for an update but did not get a respond. About 5 days later, I received a call from the adviser Moises who reported that it appeared my truck had rodent damage, and it was going to take at least 10 hours to determine the extent of the damage. He asked if I had car damage insurance because it was going to be extremely expensive. I told him I was not going to place a claim on my insurance and that I was going to pay for whatever the damage the truck had. He said OK and told me that he will let me know later. Another week went by, and on November 22nd I call for another update. The adviser tells me that he was waiting for a quote or mechanic update, and I told him to get the work done because I needed my truck. During a heated discussion, the adviser told me if I didn’t want to wait to pick up the truck. I became very upset at this time and I ask to speak with the service manager. I was transferred to Arnie. I explained my concern and complaint to Arnie. Once I mentioned the appointment, he stated that they don’t really have an appointment he added “it’s more like a reservation”.. I have never heard of that! A reservation!! At that time, Arnie estimated the repairs to be approximately $2800 to diagnose the problem but not the repair. I once again told Arnie that I NEEDED MY TRUCK and authorized the repair. He said OK and said he would get back to me. On the 25 of Nov., I texted Arnie for any updates. He said it would be early next week. On December 8th, I visited the dealership service area to get any update on the status of my truck, but Arnie was off that date. One of the service advisers was nice enough to looked up my truck status. He informed me that the computer had no information on my truck, and that no mechanic was assigned to it. I thanked him for looking and went home. On December 9th, I again reached out to Arnie. He placed me on hold and in a few minutes tells me my truck had “fallen into the cracks” and the truck has never been worked on! I could not believe what he was saying. I asked him if he wanted me to pickup my truck and he said no, he would get it done. Later that same day, he did call and told me he had some pictures showing the damage. On December 12, after 29 days, I was able to pick up my truck and it was in working condition. The cost was $2,600.00. As I was driving home in my truck, I noticed that the passenger seat cover had been removed in order for someone to check the seatbelt connection. I decided that I would rather lose my seat cover before ever returning to this dealership. It was the worst experience I have ever had. I will NEVER recommend this dealership. More
Dealership needs better communication between the service advisor and customer. I had to call several times to get the status of my vehicle when service was not completed when promised. advisor and customer. They delivered my car to me and even the paper work. Great dealer! No haggling. Was the best car buying and I have bought about 7 new cars over the years. Great dealer! No haggling. Was the best car buying and I have bought about 7 new cars over the years. More
