I was charged $540 for a part that broke off on the drivers side door. The service clerk said this happens all the time so we have plenty of spare parts in stock. No way does this part cost more than drivers side door. The service clerk said this happens all the time so we have plenty of spare parts in stock. No way does this part cost more than $100. Also, it seems like a recall should be done since this is such a common problem. More
My check engine light came on and I called Autonation for an appointment. I was told it would take a week to diagnose my vehicle. I asked if, I could be put on a list and I would bring it in the day before an appointment. I was told it would take a week to diagnose my vehicle. I asked if, I could be put on a list and I would bring it in the day before your ready to work on it. The answer was NO, you must leave the vehicle. Do you have a loaner car. The answer was NO. I told the service advisor I would bring it the following Monday. I pulled into the service drive around 9:30am. I was the only customer in the service drive. I looked over and saw 4 service reps diligently working at their computers. .I waited a few minutes and no came to greet me. I left my vehicle and entered the service are. I stood inside the door for a solid 2 minutes watching all of the service reps typing away on their computers. No one looked up. They all knew I was there. After 2 solid minutes I caught one of the service reps look at me. She quickly said, someone will be right with you and started typing again. By the way, I am the only customer at the service desks!!! Another solid minute went buy and then one of the other services advisors (without looking at me) said, can I help you. We started to converse while he continued to type (never, ever looking up at me). This behavior is extremely rude. The other issue is that it took 8 days to diagnose an engine light problem. That is unacceptable. Why would buy another truck from you when you can't fix the ones you already sold within a reasonable time. . More
I scheduled standard lube service and tire rotation and also scheduled two minor recalls all to be done in the same day. Josh was put in a bad spot and short handed but was able to get my truck complete in also scheduled two minor recalls all to be done in the same day. Never had issue with service department, but would not purchase another vehicle from Autonation. Dealership is clean and friendly, Peggy Chaney is the best in service department. The reason I would not purchase another vehicle from Autonation. Dealership is clean and friendly, Peggy Chaney is the best in service department. The reason I would not purchase again from them is when my son purchased his Mustang, he was told by salesperson (Mo) that the minor scratches would be fixed, but when he went back to get them fixed after purchase, salesperson said there wasn't anything he could do. That is not a good salesperson in my opinion. More
Very disappointed with the service I got, I bought my explorer there and it was in for its 1st service. I was told it would take 60 minutes I was there 3 hours. I had an appointment which I guess doesn’t explorer there and it was in for its 1st service. I was told it would take 60 minutes I was there 3 hours. I had an appointment which I guess doesn’t mean anything to anyone. No GM or Service Manager to talk to this was at 11:15. More
Overall, not bad. But the devil is in the details. The transaction took about 4 days although it should've been super simple. Forced to use their financing, but I But the devil is in the details. The transaction took about 4 days although it should've been super simple. Forced to use their financing, but I understand in today's market. Quoted me a warranty that I agreed to. When I came to sign, the warranty was 30% higher than quoted. I've reached out and asked for confirmation that this will be refunded and got a response back that it will be, but haven't heard back since. Have followed up a few times with the salesperson and finance manager. Lastly, the car came with an empty tank (accustomed to getting a full tank with a car purchased from the dealership) and small scratches under the front bumper (that weren't mentioned in the description). All in all, not bad... But be super thorough when buying from this dealership and don't need anything for later. More
Dealer's service advisors are great about letting me know the up-keeps my vehicle needs. I'd rather pay for service from time to time than by a new vehicle with payments. the up-keeps my vehicle needs. I'd rather pay for service from time to time than by a new vehicle with payments. More
