I took my car in for a 100,000 mile check up and got an oil change and tire rotation. My oil had just been changed a month earlier and didn’t need to be changed. They never called me (even though they claimed they did) to tell me what services needed to be done, just gave the “multi system check” to my parents when they picked the car up. When I called to tell them what happened, I got nowhere with the person I spoke to. She just said that it was assumed the oil needs to be changed at that check, so they just do it (and charge you for it). Nowhere in the paperwork does it specifically say they did a 100,000 mile check up. Highly unsatisfied. More
I ordered a car through AutoNation Ford in Arlington and when it arrived, the dealership had recently changed managers. The new manager's policy was they do not match trade in offers in writing from other d when it arrived, the dealership had recently changed managers. The new manager's policy was they do not match trade in offers in writing from other dealerships. This dealer offered me $6,500 less than a dealership right across the street. Their own brand dealership in Frisco offered me $4,000 more, after much conversation, they agreed to raise their offer to the same one as their dealer in frisco. They would not allow me to bring in outside financing even though I had a lower interest rate guaranteed through a bank I work with normally. The overall experience was unpleasant. The sales folks that I work with were very friendly and accommodating and understanding with the challenges and apologized however I will not purchase again from this dealership. More
