This dealership honored the warranty on the defective 2021 ford escape headlight lens housing. The old design allowed for a small amount of condensation to get inside the housing and had a way to evaporate it but every time the water evaporated it dried in streaks and murky drops inside the lens. My other lens will come to need a replacement as it is also the old design. My tech Joshua is 5 out of 5 stars. My only complaint is with the initial tech that greeted me at the door. He informed me my tech had been scheduled his lunch right at my appointment start time of 11am. He then went to find my tech but could not and instead of alerting another tech that I needed to be served he left me outside waiting for one hour. He never approached me to say he had or had not found Joshua. I got so impatient I turned my service ticket into an oragami chatterbox. I don’t know why it didn’t show my appointment in their system or why I didn’t receive a call for being what the system should have thought “no show”. A manager then noticed me and asked if I had been helped. He then got the next available tech to help me. After waiting 10 minutes behind the person in front of me we began to resolve the issue. 5 minutes into this I finally got to meet Joshua as this 3rd tech noticed him visually back in the service bay and we repeated the visual check of the defective part with Joshua. He came out and took a photo which took one minute and then he sent me home. He said ford will check out the issue and this should not be a problem for me. One week later the part was in. I dropped off the car around 11:55 am with the front customer service tech (not Joshua) and picked up my finished car at 2:17pm after I got a call from Josh that it was ready. Again Joshua was ready to help even though no one built then had told him I had even arrived and left the car. The left lens housing was the only thing replaced so I was hoping for slightly faster service. Thank you goes out the mechanic who did the work. I know you must have had a lot to do that day. I really do miss the small service center at Subaru of Fort Worth when I had my forester. I feel you get missed in the crowd at these larger service centers. More
The entire process of purchasing my Bronco which took all of 2 years 2 months and 21 days from the day I placed my order to the day I tool delivery was handled in the most professional and courteous of ways of 2 years 2 months and 21 days from the day I placed my order to the day I tool delivery was handled in the most professional and courteous of ways by my sales representative Jake. He was there to answer every question and status update I had without question. He was truly a pleasure to work with and thankful he was there. With that being said I unfortunately had issues with the process of purchasing the vehicle. The trade-in process was very upsetting and I didn’t feel like Management was doing everything they could to ensure I was getting a fair deal and happy with my experience there. I felt like they were in fact quite the opposite, forcing my hand to only take what they offered, that and the fact that they refused to accept outside financing sounded absurd to me. So by doing that we’re at the mercy of THEIR bank and whatever interest rate they give us is what we have to deal with. Not the best way to win over customers and ensure you have ongoing business with them. That and the fact that my trade-in value given to me by this same dealership, dropped by almost HALF within two months not only surprised me but upon getting an updated value from other Autonation dealerships, this one refused to honor what other Autonations were offering. Again showing me they really didn’t care about making the sale and again painted me into a corner. Either I accept the conditions on THEIR terms or I walk away from a vehicle I have been waiting on for over two years. Hardly a decision there in my opinion. While the handling of my issues/questions/concerns left a truly bad taste in my mouth by this Management Team, I am happy with my purchase and the treatment I received from my sales rep…he made it his top priority to ensure I felt valued as a customer and that I left with a smile on my face, thank you again Jake!
